Very quick and reliable service.both Will and Sean were so friendly and helpful I couldn't recommend them enough.

I called the plumbing doctor for a blocked drain. First day they sent the plumber 5 hours after ETA. Because they were sent so late, they barely got a line in the ground and couldn't complete the job. At this point I was fairly understanding. They said they would come the next day. The plumber also asked for a $200 deposit, which i paid. They didn't turn up the next day. At this point I have organised for family to be at the house waiting for 2 days as I'm a single parent who cannot miss a day's work, so this was taxing. Third day they came and unlocked the drain. They tell me that a handball blocked the drain and charged another $445 on top of the $200 and I am told this is a discounted price. I was also quoted $10k because there was backfill in the lines and it may need to be repaired in the future. 2 weeks later the drains block again. I called the plumbing doctor for their 60 day drain blocking warranty. This was well and truly still in force (14 days). I was the told by another plumber from the same company that he would unblock the drain again for $450, and that the back fall was the issue, so this was not covered under the warranty. I was quoted $17 900 for the repair that was previously quoted $10 000. I called a second and third opinion who proceeded to tell me that a handball could not possibly block a drain and that my property did not need a full drain overhaul. I was also quoted that $17 900 is even more than it costs to replace a whole house worth of plumbing and more! I was asked to call the plumbing doctor to retrieve the footage that I paid, only to be told that there was no recording. After finding a reputable local plumber to solve my issue, he charged a THIRD OF THE PRICE, fixed the problem and told me there was no back fall. I had been SCAMMED. I have since been provided that footage by the local plumber and was provisioned with a detailed analysis of the actual situation. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USONG PLUMBING DOCTOR. They were late, took 3 days to complete the job and the provided a quote of $17900 for a problem that did not in fact exist. I've had two other experienced, local plumbers verify this information. The plumbers themselves were easy to talk to and pleasant, but the information, punctuality and billing was not satisfactory. I had the drain unblocked and another lot of camera footage completed for $200 vs $643.

Steer clear of this company. Aboslute rip off. First. My old landlord got a quote of $480 to replace a mixer tap. To un do 3 nuts, replace the tap and do the 3 nuts back up. He bought the tap and I replaced it in 20mins myself. What a joke.
Also mate of mine a while ago quit working for them. Because he couldnt stand how much he had to quote on jobs. Using there priceing pyramid.
Got a call out to an old lady to replace a kitchen tap washer. Their price was $95 plus call out fee. He couldnt do it. Changed it for free in 5mins. Then quite the company that day.
Now i know why and that what he was saying is so true.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR. He will pull your teeth when you only need a bandaid. Then take your dog as payment.

Arrived on time. Answered questions and explained work to be done. Polite and professional. Left work area clean and tidy. Work completed on time.

These rip offs wanted to charge me $1300 to pressure test a pipe. Another plumber did it for $220.

In response to the plumbing doctor’s reply below, my review is true and necessary, why would I call you when you were the person who instructed your technician to charge me $1300….
Even your technician said you were just ripping me off and advised me to get other quotes.
Obviously your apples aren’t apple comparison is just ridiculous mate, you should of went with apple V a massive gold diamond ring to better represent the way you attempted to rip me off.

These are the most unscrupulous people I’ve think I’ve ever encountered - and that comes after a period living Jakarta. My very old parents had their heat pump electric hot water system replaced after a year on the annual electrical inspection scheme they had been sold by these same people who replaced it because they were told all heat pumps were unsafe and “The Government” said they needed to be replaced. Being very vulnerable customers, these people also found during their inspection of two power points that were inexplicably defective with new ones for only $280 each!

I had three of your tradesmen working on my job. So polite, respectful and communicated with me about my plumbing problem beautifully. Thank you so much.

No free quote or inspection before installation so I was given a spec price before work commenced. After completing works I was hit with another $160 on the bill. I’ll use another trade in future.

They were very professional, Andrew was lovely and friendly, he was very helpful, did everything he could for us, got the job done quickly, highly recommend them

We initially thought we'd be in good hands with Shaun who came out and inspected our property, provided a quote for our storm water drainage and chatted to us about our concerns. However, after that we were handed over to someone else in his team. That's when it went down hill. We had joists damaged, pots with precious plants damaged, rubbish discarded and poor excavation of our front yard that led to uneven surfacing. While Ben was great in remedying the problems, the miscommunication and lack of workmanship and care was quite disappointing and stressful, especially as a new home owner. I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

Tyler and Jaco were on time, very pleasant and courteous. They did a wonderful job replacing my light fittings. I Would strongly recommend their work. A1

The job was to replace our existing kitchen sink tap. Sean arrived on time and was straight into sorting out the job. He hadn’t seen this particular model before, but worked through the instructions methodically and got the job done. We were very happy with his work and the finished product.

In July 2022 my partner and I had no hot water. We called this company for help and were told we needed a whole new hot water system which I guess seemed reasonable. We felt pressured into saying yes immediately and felt we couldn’t get another quote with the plumber delivering a new hot water system that day saying we had to advise within 24 hours or we’d lose our quote. The quote we felt was really high and got a second opinion. It turned out NOTHING was wrong at all with our system and we had accidentally left a hot water tap on in the garage (which didn’t emit water) so our HWS wasn’t sending enough water out. A second plumber thankfully came out (at no charge) and explained we were about to be taken advantage of and what the issue was. HWS is still absolutely fine. We had to pay a $200 deposit which a month later HAS STILL NOT BEEN REFUNDED to my partner and I but said they are ‘discussing with management but it’s unlikely’ about a refund. Interesting another small plumbing business in Newcastle came out and resolved our issue at NO COST but this company is holding onto $200 for nothing but trying to blame it on a week day ‘call out fee. ’ Will keep looking into this further.

It would be good to disclose your fee to quote and not do work instead of misleading customers.

After calling numerous plumbers in my local area, not one answered the calls nor returned messages for an emergency front water pipe on my property. From the first call to Plumbing and Electrical Doctor nothing but helpful, called back when said they would, turned up on time and informed me from start to finish.the young guy who attended Jake was awesome, he replaced the pipe and had my water back on in no time, due to the emergency of a busted pipe i expected a fairly high bill but was impressed with the amount and quite surprised.
