I give less than ZERO stars.

This company is a disgrace, and that’s an explanatory description. I must provide this feedback, so others do not contact this corrupt entity. Let me start by saying they are rude, disrespectful, and arrogant. Furthermore, they are a blight on the Hornsby district. Quite frankly, I am entirely confounded by the way they continue to exist. I would submit this entity may be a front for an alternative motive, as there is no regard for employee’s who reach out to them for prospects in securing employment.

I first contacted this entity approximately 9 years ago via email regarding a specific role advertised. They failed to contact me back, so I called them. Well, their arrogance and rudeness was unbelievable, I was taken back on the call and they simply hung up the call after several minutes. I moved on. Fast forward several years and I was in the hunt again. I Applied for several roles advertised with no reply. Okay, move on again.

Now, you may call me insane (it’s deserving), but I reached again recently for a described, wonderful role. You guessed it, no reply or acknowledgment. So, I thought, surely things have improved with this entity. I called, was placed on hold for quite some time, then was spoken to like a child and told to call back. Remember, at this point, I must be insane since I call back later that day only to be told the person in question has just popped out for coffee and will call back. Yep, nup, no call again!

The absolute travesty is, that businesses keep using them. Even though I have been told by Employers who place additional Ads on other platforms where I obtain interviews, say they also never hear from them or perspective employees. If they do reach out to this entity, the said entity indicates no one has applied for the role or candidates are not a good fit so have not passed on the details.

Please, please, please, ignore them, don’t waste your valuable time. Look for these roles on other platforms or with other employment services. I’m telling you; they will not assist. They have an agender unbeknownst to genuine employment seekers with valuable skills. Heed my advice, its honest, true and a genuine lived experience, albite a negative one. I wish you well in your journey.

Illegally terminating people for not being vaccinated then try to cover themselves eith lies taking legal action against them and the company that used them. Coercion and mandates are not law in Australia.

Lynda and Gary are helpful to the max. They have been procuring staff for our company in HORNSBY for over a decade. They are loyal and persistent and match and organise staff no matter how hard the brief, for a very reasonable cost to the client. Casual or permanent, full or part time, if you need staff, try The Personnel Connection. Just like us, I think the high quality service will be taking you back to them for more.

Terrible staff, terrible pay, don’t care about the workers - only care about making money.
Steer clear of this recruitment agency - they are horrible people and don’t care about putting their workers in sub-par conditions.

I'm not normally the sort of person to do this stuff but I am today.
A few weeks ago I became unemployed. I was let go by a company in some financial strife after a franchise was pulled. A whole other story.
I am currently in the market for a new role and looking for a change of pace from my previous roles in Customer Service and Management.
I submitted an application along with a current copy of my Resume to The Personnel Connection in Hornsby for a role they had advertised which I felt I would be suitable for and I would enjoy. After approximately 2 weeks of hearing nothing back and yet still seeing the position advertised I again applied and submitted my Resume thinking, perhaps it hadn't gone through. Most other agencies I have applied through at least acknowledge receipt of your application with an email, if not a phone call.
Just a short while ago I did receive a call from The Personnel Connection, a very rude woman by the name of Linda (I'm led to believe) who was very short on the phone, spoke to me like I was a naughty, irresponsible child and with barely any warning, after a 4 minute conversation barely covering what I have been doing most recently in my career, she hung up on me.
Offended and confused as to what had gone wrong, had I offended her somehow, or had she misunderstood me, I immediately rang the office to learn she had ducked out for a coffee in the last 60seconds and an almost equally impolite man by the name of Gary, (I'm led to believe) came to the phone and said she had hung up because she believed we were not getting along and suggested I find another agency to deal with.
Frankly, I'm fine with that, I have zero intention of dealing with these unprofessional, impolite, unhelpful individuals.
My suggestion, if you are thinking of dealing with The Personnel Connection, don't. They don't want to help.
Incidently, I am a mechanic by trade, I have a valid HR driving license with a clean record, I have several years experience Service Advising within the Automotive industry, almost 3 years in Management, Detailing experience and a Senior First Aid certificate.
I may be at a bit of a loose end at the moment working out what exactly I want to do now as I'm trying to get out of the Customer Service Industry but I would think with my experiences and keenness to work and work hard that I would be employable.
I certainly would not recommend The Personnel Connection.

I applied for a job with these. When i spoke to a consultant named Linda she spoke to me like i was a primary school kid. Crap customer service skills. They say they always do their best. Best in what? Being rude? She kept going on about the distance i would have to travel would be too far, and no matter how many times i told her i am willing to travel 2 hrs each way for work, i couldn't get through to her. I than hung up on her because she was being so rude. It is a wonder they have any workers with their attitude. I will be letting everyone i know not to deal with these absolute rude idiots. I will go elsewhere for work.
