The Oaks Ranch and Country Club

Arlo was our restaurant of choice for a huge family lunch on Christmas Eve 2023. And what a fabulous lunch it was - 25 of us including 5 kids and a baby and our 96 yr old wheelchair-bound great grandmother - all happily wined and dined in the covered courtyard. All dietary issues were handled with finesse and the food - delivered on shared plates - was superb, filling and nutritionally balanced. Wine, beers and cocktails all hit the spot.
The wait and bar staff were kind, attentive and added to our enjoyment of the whole experience at Oaks Ranch, which included 8 of us playing 9 holes of golf beforehand on their lovely rural course.

We stayed one night (next time it will be longer) and it was beautiful and relaxing. It’s the perfect getaway. The food is outstanding and the service fantastic. The staff are attentive and have a really positive vibe about being there. We were spoiled and we loved it, and they have rescue donkeys!

If Tomakin has a secret then The Oaks Ranch is it. A wonderful place hidden in plain sight on the edge of sprawling paddocks and a golf course. The decor is warm and inviting. The perfect place for a relaxed getaway. Accomodation is comfortable and worthy of 4 stars if not more. Everything is a cut above the norm for this type of accomodation. All this is topped off by a first class dining experience just a short walk from your room. If this place doesn't make you happy then you are too hard to please!

We dined in the restaurant for the first time last night and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Outstanding menu, attentive service, amazing food, couldn't ask for more.

Probably one of the best, if not the best hotel I have stayed at for a long time. Josh was more than helpful, the rooms are amazing and the grounds are even better.

I stayed here for a family function and absolutely loved it! The grounds, buildings and amenities were exceptional!

Dined with a large group for Sunday lunch. Ice cold beer on tap as well as a wine list we could work with. Friendly and helpful service. Interesting and delicious food from the Chef's selection menu. Well done Oaks Ranch.

We went to Oaks Ranch for lunch and the food was absolutely delicious. We wanted to eat everything on the menu and the dishes we had were amazing. The wait staff were very friendly and the venue and view was very picturesque. I would happily recommend this restaurant and it is well worth a visit.

Amazing place, great architecture and interior design.
Note we had the place all by ourselves (weekday stay) and got generously upgraded with the accommodation, but I'm sure we would have loved it anyway!

Great food, great staff, owners need to employee more bar staff as we waited over half an hour for a drink the only blemish.

Quite literally the nicest experience I've had in a stay for a long time. Beautiful rooms and view, heated towel rack and bathroom floors, amenities are fantastic. Would highly, highly recommend a stay here and we intend to come back for sure!

What a location! Such a relaxing vibe. John Holland held their bridge opening celebration at Oaks Ranch which included 100 guests, 2 jumping castles, a bubble machine, an Easter egg hunt and full access to the pool and alfresco areas. Not one unhappy guest. The atmosphere, the decor, the staff, the catering from Sarah's Kitchen and the location was superb. No request was unachievable. This place is quiet, peaceful with great views and awesome staff. Bedroooms are not 5 stars bit are excellent. It is my second time there and not the last.

Lovely location with beauitful surrounds and plenty of wildlife.unfortunately due to an error our room wasn't ready, but it meant we were able to have a quiet drink in the bar area.the owners were very accommodating and quickly readied a space for us.our room had an ironing board but no iron, and a toaster would have come in handy, but otherwise was comfortable and clean.shower was nice, and plenty of benchspace in the bathroom.close to a supermarket, pub/restaurant and a short drive to several cute cafes. I would definitely stay here again!

One of the nicest places I've stayed on this adventure.the both the hosts are lovely and very friendly always there to help.kangaroos are plenty and some come very close.
The room was more than what I'd expected very comfy and spacious with everything one would need.if need anything else just ask!
Have to mention the dog. I made a friend and will miss him. Hope to get the chance to spend another night here and if the weather is good maybe venture out onto the golf course.
