The Oaks Hotel

Most the food was extremely delicious. The only dish that was a major disappointment was my mussels in white wine. I've never had such a tasteless dish. I think there was half a garlic a splash of wine and the rest was water. Disappointing to say the least.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Traditional pub vibes and the food was great. Kids (7 and 10) liked the food and activity pack!

Eating out under the tree, in the sun in their courtyard is very enjoyable. It's a big pub with 4 or 5 different areas. Long and good menu. I enjoyed my mussels in white wine sauce today.

Really great service Georgia Fulton, bar tender was amazing. She was amazing great chat and fantastic service.

Supposed to be one of the best sports bars in Sydney. Show up to watch game 7 nets bucks which is listed as playing live on their website. Told they're not open. Website is wrong.

We were sitting at a table for 3 hours and without notice we were asked to move. They take bookings without telling their existing customers that their table is taken. Try better!

Most professionally run pub in Sydney.
No kids behind the bar playing on their phones or gossiping.
Dearer but well worth it imo

Waited 40 minutes for food, asked at the bar, they’d forgotten our food. In the meantime our friends had been served and finished their meals. Food was average. Mates said the schnitty was good. My sausages were almost unbearably salty

Nice pub with beautiful Oak tree at the centre. Unfortunately the weather has been horrible each time we have booked and the staff have had to relocate us inside. Coffee's are not the best, but the steaks are to die for, and there is always a good number of interesting on-tap beers (I love the Very Berry Sour that they currently have). The entrees are great, especially the miso glazed chicken wings and salt & pepper Szechuan squid!

The Oaks is great venue. Fabulous staff and excellent food. Not the cheapest in pub dining with wines being a bit pricey.

So now the Oaks are doing a surcharge. $12 glass of wine $12.14. Staff unsure about the reason why. So why?

$45 for a very average steak and $12 for a schooner, could go to a hatted restaurant for these prices. Average pub food at extraordinary prices

Over rated dining. I know it is more challenging in the covid world but. Ordered 6 meals. Different steaks cooked differently. Was served 6 steaks on 3 trays with no idea or no explanation as to which was which. Attitude was just serve them up and get them out? Plus all steaks over cooked and tough. Very disappointing.

Good pub meals at good prices. Pizzas are amazing. This place has a really nice atmosphere. A few outdoor areas and a nice area by the fire.

The place has it all, a bar for all occasions; first dates, boys night, work night, family dinner and live sports. You can't go wrong

Great venue for large groups of people and the rooms upstairs with pool tables in them just adds to the allure of going in a big group!

Great night at the bar and grill restaurant. Has a great range of craft beers and a good range of aged steaks to try. We went with a 1.5kg tomahawk between three of us with green beans and potatoes which was the perfect meal for less then $30 per head.

We came here because it looked beautiful from the outside, spent $60 for two pizzas each the size of a plate and two drinks. As we proceeded to eat our pizzas I noticed that my vegetarian pizza was topped with vegetables that had clearly been stored in jars filled with oil for some time. The vegetables were soggy and the pizza was dripping with oil. I only had one slice and it made me sick. We told the manager who apologised and offered us free drinks instead. Not reviewing in a bad spirit, I just hope you will rectify this problem. Otherwise The Oaks Hotel has a good atmosphere and polite staff.

Awesome food- Burgers, pizza, steak and beer. We went twice at the request of our kids. Great atmosphere with an excellent staff. Really good local beer on tap.
