The North Face reviews
8 Friendly, helpful staff I went in on Sunday inquired about a shoe they didn’t have it in stock. The lady there looked up if any other store had it, she found it at the outlet at Birkenhead shopping center. She contacted them and asked them to put it on hold for me.today I picked it up.
I can’t ask for more ️
I love your clothing and equipment, have always purchased northface gear. Unfortunately on Friday I had a very, very average experience at the Bondi junction store.
My partner and I went in two purchase a long list of items for our hike in Tasmania - thermals, waterproof pants, shoes, camel backs, fleece, gloves etc etc
The service was horrendous, no hello when in (both behind the counter), had to request for assistance again and again. No interest in what we were purchasing for.
The shoes they didn’t have in my size, I was told to “call the other stores and check if they have them as the computer could be wrong. ” Sorry, but that’s bad service.
We spent a lot, but if we had the proper assistance we could of been upsold very and felt more comfortable that we had purchased the correct gear for the conditions!
I still don’t have the shoes I wanted, apparently if I order online “they won’t know when they will get dispatched or where from”!
Ridiculous.
Such amazing, knowledgable and warm staff. Amanda and Sam went out of their way to help us. Lovely, genuine experience!
Today I tried to buy shoelaces for my hiking boots from this store. They don’t sell them. When I asked if they have the the taller female assistant said no. That was it a flat no. She then asked me which shoes I have in a very disinterested way and then kept me standing there while she decided what to do. My point is if you don’t have something a customer is asking for then a flat no does not suffice. Neither does umming and ahhing over it while the customer just waits. I got much better service from Kathmandu and the Athletes foot in Bondi Junction when I asked the same question as they were friendly about it and directed me to other businesses nearby that might have what I was looking for. This sales assistant at the North Face had the nerve to tell me that I was being rude when I said I would leave the shop if she didn’t have what I wanted. Very disappointed and I won’t be buying anything from the North Face anymore.
Very nice place! The staff are welcoming and the place is acceptable. The clothes are brilliant and the changerooms have terrific lighting (what does that have to do with it). Would TOTALLY recommend this place to all who are looking for camping supplies and travel supplies. I love seeing the wonderful items up on display and still look forward to going here even though I go here all the time. Make sure you go here!
Best quality for winter apparel and accessories. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The range isn’t as big as it is in the US stores but it’s still good.
Have been shopping for upcoming holidays. I like NTF brand and believe in its quality. However, will avoid to shop in Bondi Junction. Selection is really poor as well as knowledge of sale personnel. He had absolutely no idea what products he selling. Simple question about function of the gloves was answered with “unique function” to touch cell phone. Really? ! I’m buying functional clothes, but different way. Left store without purchase and not coming back!
This review is strictly relating to the way my father was treated by the sales agent.
My father went to this store on Friday to purchase a cardigan. On purchase through their POS system they gave him a wrongly discounted price.
On realising the discrepancy the sales agent requested my father go and get cash to pay the excess ($8).
My father asked them to put it through their POS, the sales agent refused, after getting the run around and being spoken to in a rude, demeaning, demanding manner my Dad requested a refund.
Another sales agent who was ruder, more demanding and more demeaning then the first, then refused my dad a refund and forced him to go and get cash to remedy the mistake they had made.
The 1* review is strictly related to the manner in which my father was treated, the demanding, demeaning nature of the staff and disrespectful way he was spoken to.
I’d avoid this store on a Friday afternoon at 4pm.
