The Narrabri Shire Visitor Information Centre reviews
26It's always nice to visit the Narrabri visitor centre for a stop and toilet break. The roads are long and empty out here and the staff are always friendly to travellers. It pays to keep up with the latest information in the area.
Excellent center with lovely gifts, local books, real maps, and a massive cotton picker on display that you can actually sit in.
Only popped in to use the toilet, but the displays in the centre were interesting. Loved the big cotton harvester on display and the different grain products being grown in the region. The lady Manning the desk was able to answer my husband's questions about fish farming and yabbies. Toilets very clean.
Information centre with some gift items. A giant cotton picker inside. Only a few local items other than cotton oil and soap. Other items are a bit pricy too
An nice information centre with full size cotton picking tractor inside it that you can sit in. A good opportunity to see and sit in one. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
It's set beside a lovely large park by the river that has caravan parking.
Lots of information available here!
Helpful staff too.
Good visual overview of the range of agricultural products grown in the region.
Lovely local gifts.
Cotton harvester on display to wow the kids!
Well worth stopping. Staff are friendly. Toilet facilities inside building. Displays on local industry are excellent. There are local made produce for sale. Pottery, olls, jams and souvenirs.
Was passing through as my old dog needed a rest.
Narrabri info centre was clean, in a great recreational park like location with plenty of ample parking
Toilets located inside info centre
Local made produce and local machinery/farm exhibit located inside was clean and well laid out.
Gentleman working there was well presented in appearance, spoke well and clearly and informative on services around that were available ti what I enquired about.
Accessible for non ambulant members of the community as well as an all accessible toilet and parking.
Outside plenty of bird life and park land for your pooch or cat to stretch and sit under the well established gum trees for a mini stop to eat also.
Although I did not go inside, around the back in a garden bed is a tap for filling water tanks. I had a cube (IBC) which I filled for a group camp. The water was so clear. Just remember to have a hose with fittings.
As always the information centre was informative and interesting display of local produce and what the district grows. Staff professional!
The team there are very knowledgeable and friendly. Good info on road closures. Good info and times and locations of attractios. Toilets clean and well stocked. Nice display of local gifts and products.
Girl real friendly. Wiling & eager to help.
Knowledgeable about local area & answered our questions.
Very helpful and friendly staff when we called in for some information this morning, also got directions to the local recycling centre to get rid of our weeks supply of bottles and boxes! The products on sale were great too. Thank you
I really appreciated the guidance we received here. The lady I talked to was very knowledgeable and took the time to help match my family with suitable walks at Mt Kaputar NP.
The centre itself was interesting as well.
Extremely helpful girl. (Blonde hair). Gave very precise directions to Sawn Rocks and lots of other attractions. Also great knowledge about the local products sold at Info Centre.
Very dedicated staff who know their area. Got all information leaflets we were after
Good range of local wares
Cotton industry well represented
Met a lovely lady who was very helpful and gave us a lot of information on what to see and do in the area. The information centre has a good collection of locally made products and lots of information on the cotton farming that is prevalent in the area.
Great service with suggestions on where to stay. I chose Selina St B&B what a top choice. The place is amazing and the host Joan makes your stay perfect. A clean and comfortable place to stay.
Alex was very friendly and helpful with lots of maps and info about the area. Very clean and attractive space.
