Best medical centre out there, doctors are kind, reception is incredibly helpful - Nina Nanra in particular is amazing

I can’t thank this practice enough. My daughter recently had a major operation at Norwest Private (please Never go there). Whilst her consultant surgeon was amazing and op went well. The post operative care was non existent. I was at my wits end as she was discharged given no referral letter for rehab program. Norwest didn’t want to know took my money and closed the book.
Thankfully I had the good fortune to speak to Nina she was just so compassionate and listened exactly what I needed. I was unable to take my daughter into the surgery as she was in post op pain etc. She arranged an immediate telephone consult. She literally took over. Dr Shen was brilliant reassuring my daughter and providing a referral. My daughter was just so anxious and scared. Thank you to Nina she stepped in when I was at my lowest.

I really liked this medical centre and have moved away and had to get my files uplifted I don’t think I had been at this surgery less then 10 times and I had to pay $50.00. Very expensive task.

Great Practice! All staff are kind and welcoming and the Doctors are very professional and knowledgeable, they take their time with patients and really get to know you and assist with your needs, would highly recommend to friends and family!

I'm not sure if one of your nurses is racist. When I asked her to check my four-year-old son's eyes (one is smaller than the other one), she said "that's fine, he just has Chinese eyes and Chinese eyes are small". She should have expressed herself in a better way If she did not mean to discriminate.

GPs really take time to go through your health history, lab results, and symptoms to provide informed recommendations and to see if there is anything urgent. Really good and reliable practice in the Hornsby area.

Not only is this place really clean and professional looking with lovely reception staff and a cute little welcome pack for new patients but for the first time I think in the history of ever I was called into my appointment a few minutes early! Never before have I ever not had to wait for a medical appointment. The doctor was just so lovely and helpful. This will be my new regular medical centre.

I am new to Sydney and so glad I found a great gp in this practice. Dr Cao was so kind and helpful every time we went in. He addressed our concerns in a very professional and assuring way. He is great with kids too. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great gp with exceptional service.

I have been coming to this practice ever since it was recommended from a mate of mine. The staff I have met i.e doctors, nurses & receptionists are the highest levels of professionals that a practice could have. They show knowledge, strength & integrity towards individuals such as myself. I would love to thank the Madison team for a job well done and a special thank you towards a young receptionist named Sofie for always lending a helping hand.

15 minutes consultation charged $100. If you don’t have Medicare card, be careful. They said they only bulk bill for Medicare card holder, not for insurance holder.

My wife had a procedure that she was very nervous about but they all did everything to put her at ease.
They listened to anything we asked, clearly explained and monitored things every step of the way.

But what was really great was that they all sat with us, talking, making jokes and putting her completely at ease.

Only 1 star for doctors Denis Huang working there. She literally tried to put my sisters life in very critical condition to the point where she could kill herself by stopping her usual medication.

I ended up seeing a doctor @ The Madison quite by accident. I moved to the area and chose a surgery near my office and one that had a female doctor with plenty of available appts. Whenever I’ve wanted to see my doctor, I’ve been able to book an appt within a week, even when factoring in my working hours. If I’ve needed a priority appt and my doctor wasn’t working that day, I’ve not had any issues getting a tele appt with the next available within 24 hours.

My doctor has never made me uncomfortable and has always given me the chance to explain everything I needed to tell her. She has respected my history, and understands that I know my body best. When referring me for further tests, she has been thorough in her requests, and when results come in, I’ve received a text message either saying that my results were all clear, or suggesting I book a follow-up appt.

Reception staff have always been cheerful and helpful. The nurses who gave me my shots were also fantastic.

All in all, 100% of my recommendation is positive for The Madison.

I have lived in the Hornsby area for over 15 years and have visited many local medical centres. The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby shines!
An incredible team of staff provides a warm experience from start to finish.

The nurses are great my family always use this centre for the routine blood test and seasonal flu vaccine. They are also a local COVID vaccination centre for Pfizer and AZ now.

I am always using the Heathengine to book the appointment simple without any issue.

Dr Jesse Lou is incredible. Not only has he taken great care of my physical health, but he also takes the extra step to check my mental health as we have been working at home in lockdown for the last few months. It is rare to find a doctor who combines such personal touches and care for a patient with an outstanding quality of medical care.

Each time I went to Madison practice, I always received a warm welcome. The staff genuinely care about their patients and are very professional.

I attempt to book COVID vaccination, and was told by reception lady I can’t book in because I only have been in practice twice. I do have a health and not go to medical often.
Just quick question how much money you like to make from customer then you will like to give a shot? Can you find better excuse?

I had been attended Dr. Denise throughout my whole pregnancy and she is really amazing! Moving interstate and still miss the professionalism of her. The whole clinic is great and highly recommended.

Dr Michael Shen helped diagnose my sinus issues and helped find possible causes for an issue that no other Doctor was able to understand. Has diverse and extensive knowledge. Can tell hes very passionate about his job - would definitely recommend to anyone needing a Doctor that will actually help.

Also thank you to the reception staff at the Madison, you're always so friendly and welcoming. I had my COVID-19 Vaccine done and the process was quick and efficient, super organised. Its a pleasure to work with you in the pharmacy upstairs - thank you for your hard work!:)

Dr Jung-Yoon Huh is a very professional, knowledgeable and caring doctor. She is accompanied by equally qualified and experienced GPs and allied health professionals in the practice. Given the cultural diversity in our local community it is fantastic that most of the team is bilingual. The Reception staff are always welcoming and friendly. Recently patients were surveyed about an extension of hours and the team responded to this need. I would not hesitate to recommend the practice.
