The Little Teapot reviews
27Beautiful outdoor space to have coffee with friends. Pet friendly and delightful decor. Staff very friendly and coffee is great. Meals served quickly and are delicious. Thanks Helen from the Christmas dragonboaters
Wonderful restaurant with beautiful decor and a wide variety of food and drink. A fabulous host and efficient friendly staff! They have a fabulous high tea at a reasonable price! Great place to eat and then wander along the Davistown watersedge!
Regular haunt after morning paddles from Davistown. Coffee is always good, as is the food. Bacon and egg on Turkish bread is a favourite. Always a smile from the staff.
Helen made us very welcome. The food was lovely. They have a pleasant outdoor are. Two of us were celebrating our birthdays and Helen and Lauren sang Happy Birthday.
It was lovely, lovely, lovely. Food was simple and delicious and reasonable. Plenty of seating outside and in. Quirky, cute, friendly.
What a great little place. Yummy food. And good gluten free options for my wife. Friendly service. And amazing coffee.
High Tea at The Little Teapot is the best! The food is lovely and fresh, sandwiches yummy, tarts, scones and lemon meringue delicious!
Helen and Team were so accommodating and friendly.and made my birthday special. Beautiful food and fun atmosphere! Look forward to our next visit.
It is excellent here. Absolutely loved the staff - so attentive and friendly. Very welcoming, clean and well maintained cafe and garden area. Plenty of space for kids to play while waiting for the food/drinks. Pet friendly. Beautiful home made scones are just really really delicious. Home made cakes are to die for! The chai tea pot was great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
We looked up on Google to find where the best Devonshire teas were and The Little Teapot came up on our search. The Devonshire Tea was excellent and they also do high tea and the decor was very nostalgic and very enjoyable. The service was excellent and we had a bit of a chin wag with the owner about the history of the area. It's great for cyclists and the ferry is not more than one and a half minutes walk from the cafe. We did find that the new owner of one year had mentioned that she can't remove the reviews of the previous owner which didn't reflect well for the previous owner, but I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Relaxing and very friendly perfect place for a high Tea breakfast and nibbles. Food is lush and staff are amazing and will do anything to make your visit special.very kid friendly and homely.slices are so good.

Went here for high yeah yesterday and it was incredible. Everything was made from scratch, the service was delightful, the food was just so beautiful and so delicious (you could tell it was made that morning). They have the most stunning decor (I want the gramophone so badly)! The owners are just beautiful inside and out! My family and I come here a bit on weekends since we discovered this gem! Absolute love this place!
My best friend and I had high tea here and it was amazing for the price. So tasty and fresh. Made fresh daily! Highly recommend!
We had a lovely morning tea here this morning. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the rear outdoor space a lovely place to sit with a great play area for young children.
The teapot is somewhere I have gone for many years for my morning coffee but it is really cluttered now. With crochet blankets, rocking chairs and porcelain everywhere you look. I get claustrophobic in there.
Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience at this cafe. The menu has decreased in size since the last time we were there. We ordered two drinks and 2 slices of banana bread. The coffee was good, however they forgot our banana bread and we had to go up to ask for it 20 minutes later. The cutlery I was given had old egg on it so it had not been cleaned properly. It’s a very cluttered space and is unfortunate how the cafe has changed since we last went.
My first time at the cafe! Lovely garden area out the back. I was even able to have a vegan cake with my coffee:)
Glad it's reopened. They just need to obtain the services of a chef and things will be back to normal.
The food and service is still very good and the restaurant was quite busy while I was there. Good luck guys
Leaf tea in a proper teapot, served in china cups and saucers. Excellent service, pleasant staff and value for money. Great ambience, will definitely return.
