The Little Olive reviews
20 Amazing little cafe with incredible, caring service, delicious food, and an awesome atmosphere.
The attention to taste and how ingredients work together on the menu is impeccable. Clearly, a lot of care was put into each and every dish they serve.
The service is amazing as well, always have had a great experience with caring workers whom always work to have a positive attitude even if they are busy, kudos to you all for not letting stress take away from your great customer service.
Food is on the treat yourself level, but in this economy, it's definitely a more affordable cafe compared to others. With the food portions allowing you to take your leftovers with you, it's definitely worth every penny with how delicious it is.
All in all definitely a great experience. Definitely worth every penny and worth visiting.
I've been here quite a few times as it's around the corner from and on the school run.
It's a nice set up, has good atmosphere and nice outside seating.
The coffee is good more often than not.
Only downside would be everything and everyone seems to be rushed.
The coffee is great. The service is pleasant. I find the cafe a bit loud to sit for a meal though.
Quick service despite the large group we had for lunch. Outside seating is available or you can sit inside if you prefer.
Had the lamb salad, was underwhelming with large pieces of lettuce, lamb and haloumi that were impossible to consume easily in one bite, you will need to use the knife to cut these up before eating. Decent portion size.
The dish was too salty for my liking however others in the group enjoyed the lamb wrap, that will likely be my order instead next time.
First time ordering from this place and I'm happy i did! The latte was perfect and my bacon and egg burger was so good!
Go here almost everyday and have started having my work meetings here. Great coffee, excellent smashed Avo and BLT's and really friendly service. Get a table in the sun.
Highly recommend, great with children can accomodate dietary restrictions too,
They’re quick, you’re not waiting forever and a day, even when they’re busy,
We’ve eaten in and had takeaway both are unreal,
Coffees good, bacon and egg rolls are cracka and the pancakes are a favourite for our kids
Gorgeous café, and althought outside of my local, it's close to a park which is always a plus for families. The food and coffee were amazing! I got the Biscoff French Toast and honestly - you need to get it if you go. I highly recommend. Perfect sunny spot for a Sunday morning catch-up or refresh before a big week begins)
Excellent. Everything was excellent! A cafe or restaurant is only as good as the chef so please don't lose your chef the food was excellent and plenty of it. The service 5 Star and the ambience excellent. Please put this place on your list to try it's well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back
What a hidden gem in Hobartville. A cute cafe with lots of seating, plenty of parking but a quiet location. Indoor and outdoor seating and on this cold sunny winters day, the plastic awnings protected us from the breeze but provided us the best and warmest 3 and 1/2 hours of pure sunshine joy. And the food was delicious. Coffee fabulous and desserts were amazing. The brownie and bread and butter pudding incredible.
An amazing place for 6 friends to catch up.
Highly recommend.
Had the soup which was reasonable priced, large chunks of meat and nice mix of vegetables. Taste was fresh and you could tell home cooked. It was quiet and peaceful, off the main road but clearly a favourite with the locals based on still being busy for a late mid-week lunch.
Really enjoyable food, generous serving, very reasonable price and excellent service (and fast!). 5/5
My husband and I visited this new place
recommended by locals, the hamburgers were delicious, will definitely return with some friends for another nice meal soon.
The Little Olive is just what Hobartville needed. Lovely cafe, great coffee and friendly staff.
If you want a chill cafe with good vibes, this is your place.
Such a great atmosphere and beautiful food. Love it
So happy this cute little brunch spot opened up close to work!
Great service, delicious coffee and plenty of food options. Their chicken schnitzel wraps are my favorite!
We love visiting The Little Olive! Food is delicious, staff are always so friendly and welcoming and the parking is super easy (especially if you have little ones!) We highly recommend checking it out
Very friendly staff and great coffee!
I haven’t had lunch there yet but will be back for sure. Great to have this new place in Hobartville!
The cutest little cafe with the best staff. Everyone was so welcoming and there was a great atmosphere with the most amazing food and coffee!
We could all hear a warjet about to take off.
At the same time, a waitress chooses then and there to walk to our table and, I guess, ask for our order. We could only look at her, and away, and back at her for 2 long minutes as the squadron took off, one-at-a-time.
This very loud noise from Richmond RAAF base, of course, was likely an issue for several other cafes in Richmond.but, dear wait-person, I really don't mind if you go and do another chore then, instead of standing before us.
Or is this another cafe where no paid training is given outside of opening hours?
*To outsiders, Richmond RAAF military airport is normally sleepy with occasional quieter Hercules doing touch-and-gos.
The F-35A Lightning II evil warjets are based at Williamtown, North of Newcastle. They only rarely visit Richmond.
