The Little Lost Bookshop Katoomba reviews
20 Cosy bookstore, friendly staff
The bookstore is small but has a good selection of books. I found a very interesting book about nature here, which is perfect while I was on a hiking trip.
The staff is also friendly, recommending hiking trails to me. Really do love this bookstore!
I came across this bookstore with a nice atmosphere during my 3 days and 2 nights trip to Katoomba.
As I was looking at the first floor, he said, ``If you'd like, please come to the second floor. ''
The staff are nice and friendly, making this a very fun bookstore.
This is a gorgeous bookstore that I visit every time I’m in Katoomba. An awesome selection of books (and games!) and very knowledgeable staff who are happy to help out with locating or suggesting books
This book store is a gem of a find in Katoomba
Quiet, beautifully presented with new and used books available.
Lots of extras like puzzles and journals. A great range of Blue Mountains authors and creators.
Great cosy little bookshop with wonderful service I highly recommend to anyone visiting Katoomba.
A super cute bookstore with a great selection of new books.
Also on the first floor are second-hand books, which you can checkout while sitting in a comfortable chair.
This is a great bookshop that supports local writers and artists. This is one of those places where you can buy stuff you can’t get anywhere else. Hip, funky, cool stuff to remember your trip to Katoomba.
I enjoy visiting bookshops in Katoomba and this is my favourite. A good range of reasonably priced books and also a second hand book section. Very friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to our next visit!
Very friendly staff who have excellent knowledge of books and have some great recommendations. Kudos to Karl and his staff.
Great little bookshop with a wide selection of books, but also games and other fun things. Very welcoming staff who were very happy to help
This charming little bookshop offers local books, including books by local Blue Mountains authors. Great for anyone wanting something special. Karl is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.
Loved our visit earlier this year to this bookshop. The service was very friendly and helpful. They also have second hand book section upstairs. Would love to visit again once we’re allowed to go to Katoomba!
This bookstore is nestled down the cutest little alleyway so I can see where it got its name! Managed to get a book I had been looking for that had only just been released, they'd only just pulled it out of the box! An adorable little reading section upstairs as well as some second hand books and a corner section with a decent selection of board games.
Gorgeous bookshop with so much personality and charm! There’s a superb selection of carefully curated books and the staff are so friendly. Upstairs is the pre loved books section furnished with a quaint piano and comfy seats where you can sit and read. My daughter loved the kids books and board games - we found some gems!
Love, love, love this shop! So apt that their logo is the white rabbit because the shop is like a wonderland!
As an author bookshops are so important and as a reader I prefer to buy from a shop than the internet. Little lost bookshop are so helpful. They find all my difficult requests and are my go to bookshop for new and used books.
This is the best bookshop in Blue Mountains and possibly anywhere else, but since it’s in Katoomba, it’s like a little lost secret for the lucky adventurers to discover.
With a recently-tuned piano in the second-hand book section and quite a few cosy chairs all around, you are never made to feel like you need to either quickly buy something or leave. Ask the staff about anything you were wondering about and get all the right answers there and then! Get lost and forget about time and space while you look through many great and carefully-curated titles for adults, teens, children, families, hobby clubs, secret societies, world-dominating conspiracy planners, startup wizards, megachurch worship bands, dietary revolutionaries, peripatetic philosophers and avid organic gardeners alike!
They also have board games, transparent dice, rare postcards, small artisanal souvenirs and very nice-smelling candles.
Came in today and met a man softly strumming the bandura! Shop has lots of character and staff seemed lovely.
This quirky, eclectic little bookshop is one of The Mountains hidden gems. The friendly staff are always happy to chat. Also a great space to sit and read too, particularly upstairs with the pre loved books.
Great selection of books with a cool upstairs filled with second hand books and a reading space.nice little getaway from the hustle:)
A promising new bookstore dealing in a range of both new and used books. The customer service is excellent and prices reasonable. I look forward to coming back and seeing how this place grows in the near future. Recommend!
