Extremely incompetent doesn't take countability for mistakes I would never recommend. Also got threatened to cancel my contract a day before settlement because I was making them aware that I was extremely unhappy with a service that they had provided.

How long does it take to get a practising certificate? Paid for it 4 months ago and when I asked about a month ago what the status was, they said there was a backlog of processing but i'd have in a few weeks. Really? Its admin for goodness sake. Anyhow, rang again only to go into the black hole of someone's message bank. Slipper and cardigan brigade.

I have received great services lately and upgraded their rating. The receptionist was fantastic getting through to the right department.

Law Society has fantastic resources for practitioner and the public. It could improve the delivery of its online services and respond quickly to market place changes.

The security staff at the entry front desk could improve his customer service skills by addressing the member of the public with some basic courtesy.

They never answer the phone. The majority are incompetent and not even Australian. Every person i have spoken to is either English or Irish. Ridiculous, please stop funding this service and please divert the funds to our health or education system. Absolutely shocking to say the least!

Whats the deal with Newnhams family lawyers? Why dont you lot strike them off? Or at least make them disclose how many complaints they have?

Great place to go to make a complaint about a lawyers illegal activities to be told wow that's bad now go home and go online and make a complaint lol.

I have a brain injury and a practising certificate.

I received a generic email about the law society hosting an event: 'Making the law more inclusive and accessible for people living with a disability'

This cause is essential for a better functioning society to have the full spectrum of the community in legal roles making decisions that affect the community.

Three days and no response so I missed the event and could not contribute. Clearly the LSNSW was not seriously committed to the great cause.

It's so sad.

Self regulation = self interest. They even welcomed Magistrate Gra Gra Gra Graeme Curran to the court, knowing he had lots of complaints against his weird behaviour. Fnally he was convicted.

They want the Family Courts cleaned up? How about first disclosing the names of all the complaints against dodgy lawyers boys?

They never help anybody but they will give you a false sence of hope when heytell you to fillout the paperwork only to say no.more than 4 times now and still they say no.they only get paid for sitting on a chair all day getting paid to do nothing at all.don't waste your time as they should close up and disappear f the face of the earth and save tax payers money that could be used for better things than this waste of space.

They are paid by the government to do PR work only. They dont do anything for the lawyers or the public at all.
