Dr Roberto Parada is the WORST and most INEXPERIENCED psychologist I have been to! He has very limited experience in dealing with anxiety, depression and emotion dysregulation. He misdiagnosed me with autism despite other professionals and experts who agreed that I was clearly not on the spectrum. Rather than giving me therapy, he spends time talking to me about my fish tanks and coral and popular science. And when my anxiety and depression got worse, he keeps chanting ‘you are autisteek’ which for him is a suitable explanation for my challenging behavior, and worsening anxiety and depression. He even suggested to my parents that I had brain damage, etc despite not being in the position to make that claim. Completely wastes my time despite charging full session fees, I wasted so much money and one year of my life going to this joke of a psychologist. He was that bad that even my treating psychiatrist co-referred me to see a better psychologist. He seems to care more about the medication I am taking than giving any form of therapy, which he has absolutely no experience in. This guy is a university lecturer who is a bit too full of himself, go see a real clinical psychologist!

If I could give zero stars I would. Literally the worst mental health clinic in Sydney.

Such a shocking and disgraceful experience, wasted one year of my life and $1000s of dollars in consultation fees only to make me worse off at the end. The psychiatrist I was seeing was Dr Hafiz, and psychologist Roberto Parada. Both practitioners misdiagnosed me, Dr Hafiz refused to prescribe any medication even when my mental health was deteriorating to the point that police and ambulance services were involved, on dozens of occasions.

When my case was taken over by doctors at another hospital, they indicated that my severe relapse was due to the treatment I received at your ‘clinic'’, especially Dr Hafiz refusal to cooperate and prescribe medication. On top of that, both practitioners refused to talk to each other, and had conflicting viewpoints on treatment, due to the toxic internal politics at your clinic. If that is the case, why on earth are you hiring them at the same clinic if they don’t collaborate or get along with each other? !

Not to mention the overpriced fees, poor service, and terrible patient outcomes, I literally paid your clinic to make me worse. I am just shocked this place still exists.

Never open and nobody wants to help. Took me almost a week of calls just to talk to the receptionist. Lost the faxed referral (they say their fax machine isn't reliable - for God's sake go to Harvey Norman and buy a new one, it's not that hard, right?)

And even then, they can't see you for months. For the sake of your health, go somewhere else - we are!

Worst ever experience with Dr. Usman Malik. Failed to was unwilling to diagnose any of my mental health issues and was instead more keen on me leaving the place. Never recommend to anyone. Dr Hafiz Nadir is more understanding psychiatrist in that practice

Spent three weeks attempting to get a phone call returned. Eventually returned and asked to email through my referral- it's been 2 months with no contact and no follow up of my phone calls.

If you spent 12 years on your psychiatric degree and work here, then i feel bad for your parents. The only good thing about this place is their exit. Don't bother coming here because I'm pretty sure they purposely diagnose you as insane to keep you there and milk you for all your cash. If your psychiatrist works here, then rest assured they were last in their class and could care less about your mental well-being. The place also smells like Scott Morrison's pants after visiting a maccas. Save your money and time by visiting any other psychiatrist or psychiatric facility

Was told to email reference it's been over a week without contact to be admitted. Better off elsewhere

Whilst I am sure this is not a reflection upon the entire practice, I feel compelled to mention that never in my life have I had such a cold, judgemental and condescending experience with any specialist prior to meeting Dr. Assad Saboor.

I booked an emergency appointment for the same day due to an on-going mental health crisis, only to be patronised, victimised and shoved out the door with minimal assistance and zero guidance for being transparent and honest. This was incredibly hurtful and left me in tears and suicidal afterwards.

I would highly advise against seeing Dr. Assad Saboor for issues relating to ADHD and previous history of substance abuse. I had never felt so lost and hopeless proceeding an appointment and this should never be the case for anybody seeking help.

Judgemental, rude and are under the impression that cannabis is the worst thing under the sun. Don't waste your time or money, they do not care for you

Although I understand the need for patient confidentiality, an action plan is needed for when someone becomes too unwell to cope at home. The psychiatrist and psychologist are not allowing us as parents to help our child because they are so concerned with confidentiality. We are not interested in learning what is said in sessions, but do need an action plan and to understand how to assist our family member when unwell. Really disappointing.

Dr Parada is by far the best psychologist i've ever been to, and i've been to a fair few, he genuinely put my me back on track in life and fully deserves a top review! Couldn't recommend anyone better!

Ted Cassidy does not care for simple past patient's requests. I've made a small request for the past year and he ignores and does not cooperate. From memory he is more interested in $$$$ than anything else. No respect for this Doctor.

Nicole Dunn has zero life experience. Thought marijuana was some kind of deadly drug. Did not inform me of my rights due to my age. She does not know how to deal with adolescents at all, reported everything I said to BOTH my parents without even asking me. She is horrible and makes you feel worse when you leave. Glad I found a psychologist who talks to me about my issues rather than my parents. Waste of time and money.

I have been attending the Castle Hill clinic for a long time, now. It hasn't really been very helpful with treating my mental illness. The reception staff are very rude to patients and a lot of the treating doctors don't seem to be able to prescribe medication that actually work. One of them seemed more interested in chatting about video games than my disorder. The prices charged are over the top - in 2013 it is $200 for a half hour session. I would see if you have another option and only attend this clinic as a last resort.

Doctors understand there field quite well.
Fees could be a little bit cheaper as some of them can not be claimed on medicare - but then this is related to the doctor, not the rooms.
