The Growers

Fruit and berries always goes moldy fast. And today after buying a bunch of groceries I was greeted by a friend in the purple cabbage I bought, that almost made me puke. Do they not check the stuff before it gets wrapped up?

Bought 2 bags of 4 punnets of raspberries at noon yesterday. Paid $5 for each bag. There was a salesperson offering the special where the bags were in the trolley in entrance to the shop.

Thoroughly dissatisfied and disappointed to find that all 8 punnets of raspberries were furry and mouldy and juice leaking out of punnets into the bags when I got home. Totally inedible and disgusting. I bought in good faith and didn’t think I had to ask to check the punnets in the bags prior purchase. Bitterly regretful I didn’t ask. Will be ultra cautious when buying specials from here in the future.

2nd time I've ordered take away from the hot food station and again waited more than 20 minutes. I'm sure the food is great but I'm way too annoyed to enjoy it.
Tip: serve the customers who order from the bain Marie instead of putting them in a queue with cooked to order meals and you'll cut the congestion in half.

I paid $16 for this! The portion is getting smaller! I’m so disappointed by their service!

Visited this food store for the first time last Sunday and was absolutely shocked by the poor quality of food sold! We had Nasi Kuning and the yellow rice was dry as hay. Also ordered a choice of 2 with rice and the veggies were overcooked and soggy! The dessert (kuay) were all hard and uneatable! It must have been displayed in the shop for a fairly long time and all the flour ingredients were harden. We don't think you should be selling food in this condition as it is against Australia's Food Standard regulation.

I love shopping here, I visit fairly regularly, however I am very disappointed with some of the staff working here! You are supposed to stay open till 9pm on Thursday, as per the website, but you didn’t let our family in at 8.29 pm, even when I said I only needed to buy a couple of things. Bunch of school kids deciding that!

The gado gado is authentic. The peanut sauce is thick and manually grounded (ulek!). Great serving size. The kwetiau siram also was tasty. Will definitely come back next time.

I have always been very happy shopping at this store, but today I had an unpleasant experience. I bought a mango and uncovered it in the store, but when I tasted it it was completely disgusting and it smelled very bad. I immediately showed them the product so they could smell it but they say they don't do returns. This damages my confidence in the store, if any product is broken they do not respond to you.

The store is very clean and organized. He associates are helpful and kind always working. I don't shop there much because of the prices and the store brand products that I have bought have been of good quality. Despite the price I really like this the grower

I always ha e fun especially when I with my sisters. Not to mention that 10 for $10 for lunchables

Clean, well organized, always well stocked. Friendly accessible staff and and just an overall excellent shoppung experience.

Very clean. Easy to locate items. Helpful staff. Wonderful selection if stopping in for lunch items (great healthy options) during your break!

The produce isn’t all that great. The fruit rots within a day. The deli counter needs more than one person. Saturday mornings you could be waiting more 20 minutes to be served as they only have one staff on. The two stars are for the checkout staff. Always friendly

What’s with all the “ customers” giving their first reviews and it’s all 5 stars? Sounds suspicious to me

I am so beyond Pleased with the service I recieved and extremely greatful the staff was able to deliver before mother's day and I wasn't expecting it to get there til after you are all so awesome and she very much loveď the arrangement its perfectly her.

The lady who served me was wonderful. She worked with me to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted. They went above and beyond to make this process a bit easier for me. Great Service and beautiful arrangements. Thank you Growers store

The flowers I ordered for my daughter looked even nicer than in the photo on the website. She was so pleased and she even mentioned how nice the driver was and that he liked her dogs.

SO IMPRESSED! First time customer - I lost track of date, and called with a last minute order. Staff was so helpful - even texting me pictures of flower suggestions. The arrangement was delivered within hours and it was gorgeous! Will be ordering again.)

I saw a regular guy that works there, could be one of the management team and asked information about the particular eggs which I could not find in their usual place because the place has been re arranged. The guy just hastily point me to a location and rudely ushered me away so he could walk away. I looked and he went to have a casual chat to a customer coming out of a register with their arms folded in front of their bodies. Long friend that he hasn't seen perhaps? It appears that he would rather have a chat to this guy than helping a customer. Bad service.
