The Granny Square / Newtown 'mini' Morris and Sons

Super little local yarn shop, floor to ceiling shelves of colour, very good selection of local Aussie merino, Peruvian alpaca, hand-dyed skeins and more. Very friendly and helpful proprietor. Wish I had a bigger suitcase to take more home with me!

My first stop when starting a new project! Knowledgable, friendly and extremely helpful, the customer service is excellent. And the quality of the products is top-tier. My favourite store ever.

I don't think I've ever felt so unwelcome in a shop, the woman at the counter could bearly muster at care to even talk to me, along with the deafening silence the lack of stock was dissapointing.

Let's just say, this is one of my fav shops in Sydney. There is a lot of different yarns to choose from. The atmosphere in the shop is so cozy that you want to stay in there forever! The service was great when i was there the last time to top up my yarns. Did i say I love this place!

I would have liked to see a bit more stock. I didn't realise that the website was referring to the City' store. Really knowledgeable woman at the counter.

Beautiful store. I have a very sentimental wool cardigan that had lots of holes repaired at The Granny Square. They did such an amazing job I could cry. The wool collection there is also fabulous in a great location.
