Got my formal dress taken in and shortened here, great friendly staff, good prices compared to what other hurstville tailors offered me, quick service and excellent work with the dress, which i was worried about ruining.would recommend to others.

Brought my suit pants here to be tailored (again) after receiving them back from Looksmart who did a rubbish job and charged $85. Golden thread charged less than half of that price, I’ll never go anywhere else now.

The manager isn’t very friendly but I love love love the facilities (private change rooms, space for a large mirror, steamer), the skill and the prices. Would have been even better if they kept my dress in the dress bag. I called ahead to confirm my garment was ready before venturing out which saved me from the unnecessary trip experienced by the other reviewers.

This is now my go to alterations shop! The service is beyond incredible, all the staff was so friendly and were able to honour my vision of how I wanted my clothes to fit on me. They were altered to perfection! Couldn't be happier with the end result. This was all done so quickly and it was ready for me to wear straight away. Best part was, I was given such an amazing price compared to the quotes I got from the local area.

Excellent customer service every time I come here, the skill level and care shown by the owner and his staff with any piece of clothing I have whether it’s formal wear to casual clothing is unmatched. I’ve tried many tailors around Sydney and have yet to find anyone who can match this places quality.
