The Globe Hotel

It’s an okay hotel, with basic kept rooms and showers which are clean.kitchen can be bit improved with cleaner kettle, toaster and general housekeeping and cleaning.can see some spider webs on the walls and ceiling. Also do not depend on their wifi as doesn’t come in room. Staff also reluctant to help. Ac was noisy in the room

Perfect spot for our overnight stop. Had a great, clean room and food from the bistro was great!

Great secret spot and the atmosphere is just country chilled cool. The food was amazing had a steak, coleslaw & chips with a great local wine. Ticked all boxes and beyond. Highly recommend it.

For what we paid, I was very happy with this place. After a day of travel, a clean bed and bathroom was what they had and was all we needed.
I wouldn't recommend to anyone who has issues with sound disturbing their sleep though, the airconditioning made a mechanical grinding sound every 30 to 40 min, and if you're unlucky enough to get a room near the common area you'll probably have to deal with the constant beeping of the bar security system all night.
And while the staff we nice enough, we asked a staff member if they would change the out of date milk in the fridge or if we need to get our own. They said they would change it that evening. Early the next morning, 6: 30am, still no milk. Later that morning, 7: 45am, there was milk with an even earlier use by date on it. Was not impressed by that. When mentioned to a different staff member, 8: 15am, they produced some long life milk within 5 min.

Dropped in for a few beers on a 35deg day, they had a live musician playing classics in the beer garden, a bloody good raffle to raise money for the black dog institute and the beers are cold and well priced. Definitely good for a few frothies.

Cracker of a pub. Never ever disappointed. Service is A1. Food is good and wholesome. Beer is cold.

We had a great stay at The Globe Hotel, the room was comfortable and clean. However the most noteworthy part of our stay was the amazing service and the restaurant.

$32 for a small dry piece of Barramundi, boiled vegetables that lacked taste and stock standard frozen chips. I was expecting more.

Stayed a night here on my ride through town. Cosy pub with a wonderful and cheery barmaid. I called ahead to book a room and she told me about some dangers on my route to town and to ride safely. I really appreciated that

Don’t often leave 5 stars but here’s why. The power went out at around 6pm and the bar allowed tabs for drinks and cooked steaks for all of our group for $10 less than normal. They also came around with some sides for all of us. Amazing service. Went above and beyond.

Great country pub for lunch in the sunshine. The Roast Chook Special was superb and the music even better. Top job guys

The food was fantastic and the facility was welcoming. The staff were lovely and would definitely go again.

What a beautiful old pub with an attached restaurant secure bike parking for motorcycle tourists.

A very welcoming Hotel. I absolutely recommend staying here. The fire in the public bar was awesome. I booked a single room for the night which was excellent value. The showers and toilets were very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with breakfast cereals, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, honey, etc. My only complaint was the dripping taps in the kitchen. I hate that many motels and hotels do not change tap washers. I loved being able to watch TV in a lounge and dining area especially for overnight guests. That was a bonus! Thank you for a great stay.

Regular customer. Still one of the best watering holes in Aussie, country or city. Publican top bloke, constantly adding novel beers and ideas to an already accomplished and welcoming pub. Great foood too!

Had lunch at the Globe last Tuesday. The food was great - tasty and large portions. The wine list excellent featuring lots of local wines. The service was good and attentive when needed. A country pub with taste and room. Very enjoyable.

My Globe burger was great, while Roses Pulled Pork was tasty, if a little dry.
Lovely service

Had lunch there today in the beer garden and the service and food was excellent. The server and all the staff are very friendly and because we had our dog even offered a bowl of water. Definitely worth the your time to stop in there for a meal

Lovely pub and staff were great. As a vegetarian however I was dissapointed as I'd read some great reviews about the food, but found that the only vegetarian option in the entire menu were potato wedges; not even a salad.
