We just had our retractable Flyscreen (Zipslide) installed by Rob and I can not fault his services! Rob was upfront from the beginning that he is very busy and would not be able to install our Flyscreen until late February due to the fact the manufacturer had to pre make the retractable screen before install. Rob was very professional and friendly and the price quoted was very reasonable. Rob’s attention to detail is exceptional to ensure our retractable Flyscreen was smooth while opening and closing. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend The Flyscreen Man. Loving our new retractable Flyscreen.

I found Rob to be extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. He managed to provide exactly what I wanted in a reasonable and faster than expected timeframe for a great price. Rob was very knowledgeable and able to find solutions for all issues. We had large sliding windows and a track however others had talked about having to take the deck up to get the screen into the track - Rob came up with a false top to angle the screen in, so we did not have to take the deck up. He was also able to do the largest frame without a cross bar which is great for our view and has been working fine. He and his staff were very professional and easy to deal with.would definitely recommend.

I really do not like writing reviews that are critical of anyone's business, as I can appreciate just how they can affect their livelihood and this is not my intention at all here. I believe that Rob is a tradesman who is well intentioned, experiencing a boom in business that potentially he cannot cope with servicing and perhaps has trouble saying NO to business he doesn't have the capacity to service. This was my experience with him.

He did say that he was very busy in our initial conversation and that it would take at least two weeks from this conversation to get the job done. The issue that I have is that when I sent him the details he asked for, including detailed photos and measurements, after he sent a quote through (which I had to chase up with two phone calls and a text four days after our initial contact, which I was subsequently pleased to accept) he never got back to me, even though I have contacted him three more times (a total of 7 times) over the last ten days without a reply. It is now more than two weeks after our initial conversation.

I believe his reviews and that he does quality work, this is why I was drawn to choose him, and also because he was local. I also believe he is completely well intentioned, however, it appears that he is either overwhelmed with work, or has troubles managing his time / or saying no. I would have accepted a No without any issues, without feeling the least bit upset. I wish you well Rob. Saying No is also a skill, one you shouldn't fear if you are not able to provide your services in a reasonable time.

I did my research and went with the prowler proof product for its seamless frame (the only company) and bonded strength (one of only two companies that do this). Priced competitively and looks better than the photos. Rob was very professional throughout.

The Flyscreen man deserved negative stars. I had to chase him 3 times to come and give a quote. He promise to email me the quote by evening. It has been 1 week and the quote still hasn't arrived - DONT CALL HIM AS HE DOESN'T WANT TO WORK AND WILL WASTE YOUR TIME!

Had 2 quotes done. First company quoted me over the phone and I had to measure whilst they were messaging (not even taking my call). Got referred to this company and Rob came
Out and measured and quoted the next day. Quote accepted and he stated 3 weeks as had to powder quote the screen doors and spot on 3 weeks installed. Great finish and they actually cleaned all the area of any excess material so was very happy with it. I have realised tradies are a unique bunch so happy with this company

We had 5 window flyscreens & 2 screen doors installed by Rob. He did an excellent job. We were told by another company that the screen doors can’t be installed at all to our sliding doors. However Rob had no issues installing additional tracking to be able to install the screen doors. The colour was perfectly matched to our existing doors & windows. It looks great! Very happy with his work.

Contacted rob numerous times to get some flyscreens installed, very bad at communication and getting back to me at all, didnt respond to any text messages after saying he will do my flyscreens, poor customer service very disappointed.

We recently got security flyscreens and doors fitted for our ground floor unit. Rob is excellent to communicate with and very flexible with quotes and installation. Would highly recommend Rob and the product he uses, it's brilliant!
