The team here are friendly and know what they are doing. I’ve been using the shop for years and they haven’t gone wrong yet.

These guys are fantastic. Really knowledgeable and helpful! Gave us travel bags for our goldfish for free and spent time with us talking transportation! So grateful for their help.

And their new location opposite where they used to be is so much better! More parking and much bigger shop:)

Great people and service (i recieved a call back after the line rang out) however unfortunately do not have the fish that I have been asking for the last 6 months and kept saying check back in 2 weeks. I found they are moving location hence the fish not being stocked (should have said 6 months ago- no biggie), as well as they don't light their small tanks up at display area (small thing would make it better and appealing (please take note owner) - i even offered multiple 3-4ft aquarium lights to them for free lol) fish are over priced in my opinion, I will visit again this weekend and then make adjustment to this review accordingly. The helpfulness of the staff here is rare to come across these days. They're a really genuine team and they go above and beyond! I came in today stressed and knowing absolutely nothing about pond maintenance, but they were so patient, friendly and helpful! If you have questions about ponds, this is place to come visit

Purchased a medium sized pond and waterfall kit at a great price. Excellent quality products and materials and Matt gave me lots of helpful advice before and during my build. My project turned out great and I really love my pond.

A bit of an institution and certainly the only place serious koi pond owners would go on the north side of the harbour, perhaps all of Sydney. I have never found anywhere better and their fish are cheaper than any other pet shop or fish shop I have found, roughly 1/3 of the price of anywhere else. I have been coming here for 12 years and it's the only place I would go for koi fish or pond equipment. Their waterlillies and lotus are also great value.

After all the great reviews I was very disappointed in my visit last Saturday, the young guy who served me was impatient, condescending, unhelpful, and quite rude. I won't be going back again in a hurry.
An update, the owner Matt called me and was very concerned at my feedback. He did explain some very unusual circumstances leading to my issue and was very helpful. I am now confident to shop with them again and recommend them, because they really do care about their customers.

We recently had the team come and clean, then re-haul our fish ponds. The service was fantastic, the team were extremely helpful and friendly and we are ecstatic about the results. Very helpful, great Koi and water lilies

Easily the best place in Sydney to head to for your all your pond needs. A beautiful outdoor shop with top examples of what can be done by a enthusiast. As well as pond and tank gear they have a great range of koi, natives and a variety of gold fish and water plants but most importantly, the team there are always friendly and ultra helpful and have helped me solve many of my own pond issues.

Purchased some pond lilies and gold fish for my pond two weeks ago, they're all doing great. The best thing to purchase gold fish here comparing to fish store is that gold fish are being kept outdoor, in the same temperature as your fish pond!

Really impressed by the service at Fishworks. Bought a Oase Pond Pump in November 16 which was still under warranty but I had no receipt just my very old credit card statement. Matt just gave me new pump after confirming it was malfunctioning. I expected some reluctance to even consider a warranty claim given the absence of an original store receipt but was absolutely delighted by the cheerful no fuss response.
Fishworks deserves to be supported. I for one will be back!

Absolutely fantastic. I am an absolute beginner, was given all the information I needed and also put in touch with other people to help me out. I was able to get all the required equipment and supplies without a hassle. Great team of people, knowledgeable, courteous and can't do enough to help out. Highly recommended.
