The Coffee Club Café - Macquarie Centre reviews
40Absolutely the worst experience i ever had with a worker.i asked the workers for a seat but they had told me that all the seats were no seats left.but when a couple came and asked for a table, the worker came and took them to a seat. On top of that the workers are really disrespectful to a lot of their customers, worst customer service ever!
I didn't enjoy this service as the waiters treated me as someone who was in the 18 hundreds they kept telling me to "go back to work" while the seating was dirty!
Food might be good here but they are not great at making coffee. I ordered 2 skim caps and the milk was burnt from excessive heating. After checking the temperature of thrones coffee it was in excess of 79° 15 minutes after collecting it. Coffee should be served between 60 ana 68°. Time to make the coffee order also took a long time (12 minutes).
Food was pretty standard big brekkie nothing special, coffee wasn’t nice tasted burnt. Over all pretty standard cafe in a shopping centre.
Been frequent visitor to coffee cup, but at Mac centre food served was terrible when you compare to other coffee clubs.
The old female lady working there is super rude. If you don’t know how to properly do your customer service you are going to lose a lot of customers.
Definitely overpriced and no effort for presentation. Ordered a cappuccino and it was tasteless, no coffee and all milk. Buttermilk pancakes, berries are terrible, you can tell that they were frozen fruits, even the ice cream tasted horrible. The chips were alright though.
Had a haloumi mint salad. Very, very basic. Coffee and hot chocolate were good. Overpriced. Disappointing. No points for presentation.
I had coffee and Egg Bennie. Coffee was ok but I would not go back for food. Overpriced for poor quality.
Free coffee after sign up from the apps. They just gave me a small size. Regular size need to spend 50c. Thats weird.
Sat down with dirty plates etc.on table. Tried to wave down 3 workers, all 3 oblivious to the world and walked past. Poor customer service, just walked off.
The lady with short hair and glasses making the coffee shouted to the customers lining up waiting for the coffee. No one can understand her English and we just asked her to say it again then she shouted loudly. What a bad manner your staff have and no one actually care customer service at this place
If this is what you call baby cino. It's terrible. It's giving my daughter milk foam. What a joke. The coffee I ordered for myself and missus was extremely hot and I burnt my tongue. Considering I'm a coffee club member, I'll avoid here! 0 stars!
Me and my daughter went here for breakfast, we ordered, they serve our drinks first, then my daughter wondered cause weve been waiting for an hour the other 2 tables got their order first where in we came first before them, so i asked to check our order the lady on the counter said the receipt ddnt printed out properly so she knew it ddnt print out properly but she ddnt said nothing to us, if i ddnt go and asked her we probably waiting for nothing.never again on this cafe.
One of the worst coffee experiences, the manager here is sulky and and randomly aggressive towards customer's (I can see other's agree too) and to top it off, the coffee is very below-average as a whole - food, service etc. While also being over-priced.
Absolutely terrible service. Walked in and the woman basically grunted at me, after I paid she walked away from the counter without uttering a word. Customer service and vibe are dead in this place.
$18.90 for this supposed sweet potato bowl that listed 'tortilla chips" on the menu item. They literally gave me 3 chips.
The rest is a small handful of diced sweet potato, a few leaves and 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes. Plus 2 pieces of halmoumi which were the only decently sized item on the menu.
A disgraceful rip off.
Went there for the first time. My husband and myself had the hazelnut hot chocolate. It was nice. Lindt chocolate had a similar one and quite intense. Would have it anyday.
If you tell your customer that their order is takeaway only, why would you then confusingly ask the same customer "Do you want your coffee before/during or after your meal? " (which insinuates that the order IS allowed to be had in-store), and then proceed to tell off the same customer for eating their order in-store.
Disappointed because the coffee + food was nice, but the ordeal unecessarily left myself confused
