Shared a Vindaloo extra hot. Was medium in any other Indian restaurant. Menus was handed to me with a dish cloth inside it.
Portions small for the price by any standards
German radio station bleating over in the dining area- pretty bizarre.
All in all the owners needs to go and see how it is done in real establishments. Danger of closing shop if this continues.
This place is great. The owner is lovely and the food is amazing! I have been living in Sydney all my life and was yet to find a good Indian restaurant that does dine in and delivery until now. The Clove is amazing, and is amazingly cheap! The staff there are amazing and always happy. The reviews on here that are bad are obviously fake because I've been here a lot of times and gotten delivery and it's amazing. 10/10, definitely recommending to all my friends.

Very expensive and the quality was quite poor.
We went here for an informal work group dinner and it was terrific! The best Indian food we’ve all had, so fresh and tasty. And the cauliflower dish was Aaaaamazing! (and we loved the surprise magnum icecreams at the end of our meal!). Can’t wait to go back again next time I’m in Coogee
I brought along my (very young) kids and the staff made us all feel welcome. Plenty of menu options and vegetarian dishes
The waiter is rude. I didn’t feel comfortable from the beginning. He put the plate rudely likewise I have to ask and wait for water for ages. The food was plain, I am super disappointed. Lastly. I asked for chili and they charged me without telling me. Very disappointed. Unpleasant experience!
This restaurant was so delicious! I was glad to find something halal in Coogee. It was a beautiful atmosphere. The young waiter was very polite and they offered us free ice cream. I'm going to definitely come here again and bring my friends and family. 10/10

Quality Indian food, great service, and nice decor. There are cheaper options locally but the food quality and atmosphere here is better. Prices are quite reasonable.
Hands down the worst and most expensive Indian I’ve had in the area.

This place is a winner. We made an early 5pm start ahead of the crowd and had time for interesting chats with the obliging maitre D! Don't miss the prawns!

Will never order from here again. I ordered and paid for 2 naans and got none, the food was luke warm and lacked that authentic Indian flavour. The pilau rice was soggy. It also took an eternity to get the food. Looking for a new place to take my business.

Ordered takeaway from here and would not advise! Really poor quality of food. Chicken butter tastes like it’s in tomato sauce. Goan Fish is disgusting- frozen fish used. Garlic nann- no garlic taste. Very disappointing Indian
