Absolutely LOVE the Catering Department.
I use them most of the time for my shoot & production catering, the food is always on time, always delicious and i always get compliments from the crew.

What a great experience dealing with Lisa and the Catering Department. I have previously ordered catering elsewhere for work events and had fiascos with incorrect labelling for dietary requirements. This becomes really stressful when you are ordering 100+ food boxes! Lisa was very responsive leading up to placing my order and before delivery. She put my mind at ease ensuring that all boxes would be labelled correctly. Plus adding additional labelling such as "chicken, beef, vegetarian" to sort the food boxes quickly into sections. She also said she would do her best to have the delivery made by a specific time (as the order was hot food boxes and we were under a tight schedule for the day). The driver was very efficient, on time and helped unload and organise the boxes. Lisa also threw in complimentary bio-cutlery packs for our order. Thanks again Lisa, cannot thank you enough for taking the stress away from my catering order!

The staff at the catering department are excellent and the food is delicious. They helped create an amazing event for our clients.

Great customer service, however the amount of food is very little compared to what I've seen in the photos. I ordered to be delivered at 5.30pm, but they dropped off at 2.50pm which is not great. You really need to reconsider to order more food.

Lisa and the Catering Dept are absolutely amazing! We used them for a shoot this week and they were so accomodating to all our production needs. From making last minute additions to the menu to having food that catered to multiple dietary requirements. To top all of that off the food was AMAZING! We had some incredible breakfast burritos with fruit and oat bowls for brekkie and some even more amazing Fish Poke (and Tofu) Bowls for Luncheon.

I highly recommend using The Catering Dept for any event or shoots you may have.

We were so impressed with everything about this company. The service was so friendly and delivery was next day as promised. They returned my calls promptly to answer my queries. We ordered 2 of the diy pizza kits as a lockdown birthday gift. The varieties available were imaginative and delicious. The dough and toppings were rated as the best they had ever had. I recently had a work function and the service was amazing the quality of food so fresh and the options for single boxed portions were perfect for our event. They were early and prompt and very helpful with everything I needed I would definitely recommend them thank you!

Throughout my time with the team I had a friendly, supportive work space that encouraged my professional growth and gave me great opportunity to grow in the hospitality industry. The business is aligned with like minded thinkers throughout the broad scope of hospitality we always worked with friendly, warm and down to earth people on good jobs and events. I never saw or tasted anything that wasn't the best it could be, there is so much attention to detail and care put into their packages. I couldn't recommend The Catering Dept any higher.

It’s always an easy option using The Catering Department - they serve up delicious, flavourful items and have innovative presentation, plus the team has been super helpful to guide me through appropriate menu and portion suggestions.

The Catering Dept recently catered for our business function. Organising an event from afar can be quite difficult, but The Catering Dept took so much worry away by organising an incredible array of canapés to suit many dietary requirements. The team at The Catering Dept are just seriously awesome. We had a problem with the original caterer (long story) but TCD helped us within 24 hours and delivered us the most delicious, fresh and beautiful looking food we could have ever wished for. I even had 2 chef mates at our wedding and they were blown away by the tastiness and freshness of the food. These guys are the real deal who obviously love what they do and care for their customers. If we could eat their food everyday we would! We highly recommend them.

The Catering Department did our daily meals at Dropbox. The meals were always really delicious, freshly made with top quality ingredients. For special events they did an incredible spread depending on our requirements (I really love the cheese boards).
I also used the Catering Department for at home meals during Covid lockdown. The meals were a good size with lots of variety.
I would recommend them without a doubt!
