The Bulgogi / GOLDEN PIG BBQ reviews
45Food was nice and reasonable price as well. But the guy who served us was very rude, I was very disappointed. The way he talk, the way he responds i feel unwelcome there. Otherwise place and food i will give 9/10.
The place is nice and the food is delicious, specially the corn with cheese <3 I will definitely come back
Really enjoyed my KBBQ experience here! So many yummy options, meat was of good quality, and the service was friendly and they helped us when we needed it!
Used to enjoy this place, however the past couple of visits have been very disappointing. The side dishes were clearly very old and tasteless, and the taste of the marinated meat was awful.
I would suggest getting the unmarinated meat, or avoiding this place altogether.
Very bad custome service. Staff are rude and have to ask 3-4times for one thing. Staff were ignorning the customers. Not recommended at all.
Kimchi pancake is heavenly good.
Actually, I never used to like kimchi.
This made me change my mind.
I think cheese did the trick for me.
The pork soup is delicious too.
There was even an instruction on how to season the soup which is really cool.
And made the soup even nicer.
Nice place to have lunch. It is quiet and easy to chat. The food is good with reasonable price.
For value, I think it's pretty good. Lots of good side dishes that compliment the good sized meat portions.
Awesome KBBQ experience which was definitely made amazing by Aaron. The level of customer service and food were amazing! Will definitely go back!
Definitely one of the best Korean BBQ in CBD.
Good price, big portion, tasty side dishes can never go wrong!
Highly recommend.
Nice quality food at good prices. Has a variety of side dishes and menu that will fit to most people palettes.
Great spot for Korean food, both à la carte and shared options like BBQ and hot pot.
I was surprised how attentive staff were and they were nice. Food came out quickly, was very filling, and wasn't too expensive.
Lovely staff. But place needs a good stream clean. Floors very slippery from all the bbq fat. Very dangerous for staff and patrons. Also some wooden baffles on roof as noise in restaurant was so loud as was almost impossible to have conversation without yelling. Great potential better but a law suit will happen soon when staff or customer Falls over injuring themselves.
It said close at midnight but last order is 9: 30pm? Why don’t you change your time to 10 if you want to finish earlier?
Taste, price, service, nothing was good.
Ordered gamjatang, crispy bossam, cold noodle.
Gamjatang taste was made by someone who never tried gamjatang before and was smelly. Crispy bossam is their "best" sign menu. But worst quality of pork, not crispy, juicy, tender.
Also staff service was bad as well even we were not visiting at busy time. I can definetly see why all cutomers are not Korean.
Ate a meal with a huge group of friends on a Friday. Food arrived in a timely manner. Strong recommendation for 1-minute Wagyu bulgogi. Friends loved the cheese kimchi pancake. Steamed egg arrived nice and hot. Waitstaff were friendly and helpful!
Potato salad side dish - delicious! Couldn't care less for the rest of them however, but could just be my uncultured taste buds being picky.
Portion of spicy teokbokki was bigger than what we expected from the image on the menu. Wasn't a fan of it though and would choose to order my teokbokki elsewhere. Sorry!
Good experience overall.
We went 22nd Sunday at townhall branch of bulgogi for the first time. The service we received was very bad. Staffs were not happy and were not able to resolve our quiries. Prices were pretty high. Just a star for their tasty fried chicken. Won't visit again.
Went here with a group of friends, the staff were excellent and very polite to the customers, the food was immaculate and delicious, was extremely happy with the chicken and the cheese corn.
Beware guys, they put $10 soju advertisment downstairs but they ended up charged $13 for it. It was not high class service btw, staff were not happy at all serving us.
Were there last week, was super busy but the food was very good. Amazing beef, juicy and tender.will come back for sure.and staff very helpful.
