Honestly asked for a shape up and trim the ends and the guy with long hair himself left me with an inch. Avoid this spot

I feel beautiful again!
I normally pay $25 in the burbs for a cheapie, but was in the city in need of a cut and they fitted me in with pretty short notice
Luca was good, and knows his stuff!
And refreshing to have a barber pay continuous attention to what he's doing, and not jibber away to waiting customers or take calls mid-cut.
$60 obviously way more than what I'd usually pay - but what price can you put on feeling pretty!

Lina was great. My hair looked and I felt great every step of the way and especially at the very end.

We had the pleasure of hosting Barberhood at our CUPRA City Garage After Work event recently and we couldn't have asked for more in participants in our event, it was certainly a unique experience for our clients and theirs! I had a fantastic experience at The Barberhood. My barber Aidan did an excellent job on my cut and shave which was delivered with some top notch banter. I would highly recommend Aidan and the team at The Barberhood to service all your hair styling and shaving needs.

Haven't been to a barber shop in 40 years, but needed a cut and was standing outside.
It was a really good experience. Barber aiden was chatty and efficient, haircut was good and price was what i expected.

My barber is Lina. She fixes my hair up really well and knows my head enough to give me a perfect cut. They make me feel welcome and give you such great treatment. They listen to what you want with your hair and do it for you.

I had the best haircut I have had in years from Lina this morning. As I work nearby I won't be going anywhere else in the future. I'm sure the other Barbers at The Barberhood at Wintergarden are all excellent too but Lina is an artist and showed great attention to detail. Worth every cent.

I dont normally write bad reviews but I am so upset with my haircut. I had Lina cut my hair and asked to keep the length on top long but she decided to keep it short. I also have a cut on my left ear from her shaving my hair.

Just did a barbering workshop with these guys. Excellent atmosphere in the shop! We picked up heaps of great tips from their very talented and enthusiastic barbers and also came away with some very neat and tidy haircuts.

Went there during the Christmas holiday as my regular barber was away for a few weeks.
The barber cutting my hair was a trainee - which was not mentioned when booking on the website.
Needless to say the haircut was awful. Although I showed her the picture of the haircut I was aiming for, the end result was completely different. She misunderstood what I was after and didn’t meet my expectations, especially if operating under such a prestigious Barber shop in Sydney.
What’s even worse is that I was charged a full fee of $60 for an haircut done by a trainee.
All in all here’s my feedback to the business:
- I understand it was holiday period and you’re understaffed, but if you’re using a trainee make sure this is specified on the website and the customer is charged accordingly (meaning a lower fee)

-Given the good reputation of this business, I’m confident this hasn’t occurred to other customers.

The main lesson learned here is to stick with your regular barbers, even if it’s about waiting a few weeks more.

Great barber ask for James. The fade, cut and beard where on point it’s unfortunate he doesn’t use fibers or semi dye to make the haircut pop. But over all great barber.

Professional, courteous, engaging and left me feeling good. Only if the manager allowed I would have given him a head massage and put him to sleep in that chair. Ronald

I had a function that I needed to attend last weekend. I needed a nice and sharp haircut done on a Friday. Yuki @ Barberhood did a really good job and I will definitely go back!

Fantastic, Yuki really helped me out and worked with me to get a style that suited. Friendly, professional, highly recommended.

After reading online that Barberhood was the GQ Barbershop of the year I thought I would give them ago.

After ten years living in Sydney I have finally found a barber worth paying for.

James is the best barber I have ever had in Sydney. Not only does he listen to what you want from a cut, he delivers, everytime.

I have never had a barber pay so much attention to detail.

He really is a cut above the rest!

Two weeks ago, I needed a cut with extra attention as it was for my wedding day. Their staff went above and beyond for me, specially my barber Luis who made every effort to ensure I was pleased with my look while being friendly and super sociable.
I would recommend them every single time you need to look your sharpest.

The Barberhood aren't just a business, they are a great group of people commited to turning a haircut into a memorable and plesant experience and they are great at it.

Had a shave today by James. Highly rated, couldn't tell.he was using a straight razor. Great bloke too.
