Roki mahi is on I flew from Melbourne to Sydney to get my sleeve started as I had been looking around for a few years here in Australia for an artist as I usually head home for Moko work. From the time you step foot in the studio until you leave, it’s like you have been there before. The videos and photos don’t do his Mahi (work) justice.
Looking forward to booking in anō to continue the Mahi!

I went in over a year ago to start my piece on my chest and bicep then letter went to do my forearm. What I can say is the atmosphere in the shop is awesome. They have music playing ALL staff are professional and welcoming and always offering coffee water or snacks. The vibe that is given is one big happy family. Rokis artwork and fine lines are impeccable and very clean. I went for 6 sessions and all session were amazing. Would definitely highly recommend going down there for your next piece you won’t be disappointed

Came in on Sunday and was able to secure a walk in spot with Zara! Super happy with the tattoo, the lines are perfect and placement is great. Zara was lovely and, as always, the shop was clean with a relaxed and friendly vibe. I’ve been coming in to see various artists on and off since 2016 and hope to continue doing so

What a awesome place, getting a tattoo can be scary. They were welcoming and made me very comfortable. I met all of the artist and they were all friendly and approachable.
I explained what I wanted and he captured it and I absolutely love the end result.

I am an older woman (of a 'certain' age) who, along with some dear old friends, had my first ever tattoo with Zara. There were 5 of us in total (plus a cheer squad). While the tattoo is perfect, this is not the reason for the all stars I've given them (FYI, there aren't enough of stars available to tell you how we all really felt). For us, it was the way we were warmly welcomed, not made to feel silly (although we clearly are), and the care the entire staff took to make us feel confident/comfortable. By the way, I 'caged the joint' quite a few times before we went to make sure they were taking the sterilisation and cleanliness seriously, and they more than delivered on this expectation. So, if you're 'first-timer' or an old lady who wants to go wild, I strongly recommend this place - perfectionists in every way - and super nice people as well.

Went in without a booking and with a pre-designed idea and met with Paul who was great at bouncing ideas about the best way to implement the design. All the staff were super friendly and approachable. Overall great experience and thank you again for fitting us in!

I can not thank you enough for the beautiful mahi and taking such good care of us during our time with you Maika, The kōrero was inspiring, I could of sat there for hours listening to the stories about our Maori heritage. I cannot wait to come back in the near future for my next moko…

Review not based on Tattoo

I made an appointment to come in for a consult, on the day, went to the shop and the shop was closed. It took me 40 mins driving there all excited and looking forward to the consultation as it would be my first tattoo but end up having to drive back and waste more than an hour for nothing. I would be happy to move the consult if something came up on your end but no communication whatsoever, I even sent an email expressing how disappointed I was but got no reply. Nothing against the shop cos I'm sure you are nice people from all your amazing reviews, it was just a horrible feeling I got from that day and won't be going back: (.

First things first lovely atmosphere at the shop very welcoming vibe. I had my moko done by Roki and all I can say is I had the best experience he did amazing work on my moko and I am forever grateful for the experience

So happy with how my tattoo turned out! Roki took the time to make sure I was 100% happy with the mock up, changing the idea slightly so it worked with the shape of my outer arm. His patience and gentle manner immediately made me feel comfortable. I wanted a really delicate piece and he just understood and executed my vision. Thank you Roki!
