I had never heard of this place, let alone been before. My client and I rocked up today without realising it was actually closed. The owner and his daughter were more than happy to let us stay and paint to our hearts content

Always a lovely time at The Art Barn! We loved the party room and it had everything we needed for a stress free birthday party. Great fun was had by both adults and children alike. Large range of beautiful handmade plasters available. A Central Coast Gem.

Don't let the outside of the art barn stop you from coming here. We drove up from Sydney with my kids for a little nostalgia. We spent 2.5 hours here working on our models, ignoring the rainy weather. The range was amazing, despite coming so late in the day. It was very busy but not overly noisy. Staff were helpful and the kids very quickly felt they were able to ask for paint top ups or a quick dry. My kids want to come back soon.

We turned up with many kids on a Monday and they were CLOSED! Their business is Listed as 9am to 3.30pm Monday to Sunday. Sick and tired of businesses not updating their hours online. It's NOT hard. Right now we need RELIABLE businesses on the Central Coast - and this is clearly NOT one of them. I personally wont return and for anyone who plans on visiting, I highly suggest you CALL FIRST to check they are actually open.

Many beautiful art piece to choose from. It's a great place for kids. Staff here are super friendly. Love the vibe here. We'll definitely come back again.

What a fun time we had! Everything is supplied, choose your unpainted plaster artwork, paints and brushes, cloths and water are set up already, so just choose a table. There is also complimentary tea and coffee. Once you've completed your masterpiece, have it sealed before it's journey home. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is fun. Both kids and adults enjoyed our visit and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Perfect activity for kids who love to paint and especially great for a rainy day. You pick your plaster and buy your paints from the very friendly staff and then the fun begins. Would highly recommend

It's still a relaxing place to knock out a plaster painting.
It's got more expensive (due to Covid). You use to have the paint included in the price but now they add an additional $4 to your purchase with paint colours you don't request. The plasters themselves have increased in value.
We have always enjoyed taking the kids.

Amazing place and amazing (huge) selection of plasters for kids and adults. Very tidy and very clean. Great people who run the place. My children enjoyed themselves immensely. So did my husband and myself!

Kids loved it and us adults loved it. Very affordable fun for everyone and you get to take your masterpieces home. Only thing is that for us adults we got very very involved and our artwork took longer than the kids haha. Not sure who had more fun
