The Arms of Australia Inn Museum reviews
8 Great little place with lots of local history
All run by volunteers
Lots of memorabilia and lots of local knowledge
A very small museum. It is run by some very enthusiastic local volunteers. They have a very good general knowledge of items on display. A small part of early Australian history preserved for the future. A great place to bring g the kids.
The museum is currently closed due to covid but are hoping to open to the public soon. It is being maintained well in the meanwhile.
Good little museum with lots of hidden gems everywhere. Take your time and go through each room and display case slowly. Volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of great information, hands on learning for the kids and a great piece of history.
Such a treasure of local history, wonderful tours by the Nepean District Historical Society volunteers, including the very nice Devonshire Tea!
Good historical information, great interpersonal intteraction. Watch the step up verandah (head injuries. Used to be shorter people). I didnt! To busy looking around.
Arms of Australia is the name of the pub that used to be there it's not a museum about Australian arms/weapons as I thought. Good museum.
This has everything you've ever wanted to know about local Australian history and lots of interesting artefacts.
