Loved the vibe of this place! Anytime you go to a restaurant and it makes you feel like you are in that country is a good thing. Bucket of beer resonably priced and we didnt get the dreaded "after dinner thirst" which can be a result of delicious asian food. Two thumbs up from me

Food tastes so so. Still lack of flavour. Best dish for me is kangkung wt pork belly (spicier would be better). Tom saap soup lack of herbs, but the ribs really soft & tender. Steamed fish aint fresh. Crying tiger too well done; dipping sauce is not spicy enough

Khao Soi had good flavors, would be better if served in one bowl rather than the wet noodles served on a plate

Fantastic food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I had the massaman curry and it was great!

Thai town is my number place in Sydney and being a Thai food lover there are so great restaurants around here and with a great pleasure we exploring Khansao. A small restaurant but have almost everything in this place, friendly services and great food

Service was good.
Mango coconut rice taste good.
We like their desserts and the fried rice with pineapple.

Pretty average food compared to others in the area and the wait staff were lack lustre. Shame you can't grab a dessert from out front to eat inside with your meal.

7/10, curry was okay, tom yum was really good. Lovely first meal in Sydney, very solid overall

You won’t miss this shop with its mouth watering display of Thai desserts at the front of the store. We enjoyed the pineapple fried rice for $30 which was an enormous serving size with juicy prawns and calamari topped with sweet pineapple chunks. The Thai milk tea is delicious albeit a bit sweet, so let the ice melt a bit. Mango sticky rice was great too.

Amazing food.
Delicious green thai curry full of veggies. We also ordered Pad Kee Mao which was very good too.

Good food with quick and friendly service. Portion is big. Only downside is the desert section is different so have to pay twice instead of one bill.

Unfortunately I'm a Uber driver and I'm still waiting more than 20 minute delivery for just 5 dollar. If you have more time which are can be wasted you can choose it?

The restaurant vibe is very vintage and just perfect for Thai foods. Ordered soft pork bone soup and their signature pad thai beef Closing with their traditional Thai dessert @foodjournal_byjess

Done in at 3.45 pm only 4 course. I request for menu for my kids came 1st, end up my kids menu came last and have to wait almost one hour (pad see ew).

I’m from Perth but everytime I visit Sydney I have dinner here. It has excellent food, good attentive service, and a wide selection at the bar. Their wide range of sweets are fantastic - I recommend the coconut vanilla ice cream, served in half a coconut with fresh coconut flesh, mango slices, lychees, roasted peanuts and a small dash of syrup on top. It’s amazing!

From the staff said we have to order 5 menu, bcz we total 5.
My order is 2 pad see ew, tom yum, grilled calamari and pork satay.
The staff said we have order one more. I said that is all I want it, the staff said no have to be 5 menu.
That is ridiculous with force the customer have to order one more menu.

Since when the restaurant put minimum order for the customers?

Eating at the restaurant is more delicious than take a way. Yesterday, I ordered Pad Thai to eat very bland. Mango Sticky Rice Mango was very bland. Go buy it yourself at the mango supermarket, it's sweeter than buying it from this shop.

Fantastic. Stop reading this and go, go now. Yeah that's right - jump straight up, head out the door and go, Go, GO!
Great little place buzzing with charm and authenticity.
Warning. Don't go if you want the stale anglo version of Thai.
Also there are two desert businesses out front, they're rippers as well.
Be prepared to wait for either restaurant or dessert

Authentic and amazing thai food! Especially love the papaya salad and the dessert (mango rice), mouth-watering and yummy!
