Thanh Nguyen Laundry reviews
6Pricing and job quality were okay, however the lady charged me a 10% fee for choosing to pay by debit card. This fee is meant to be capped at the cost the business themselves have to pay to Visa/MasterCard. I can't help but think I have been ripped off here, and so they will never receive my business again.
Surprised at the negative reviews, they have always been pleasant and timely for me for years, even before they moved here.
Keep away! I lost my beloved winter coat because of them, at the coldest imaginable weather.
Do not give them your dry cleaning item. The lady at the front doesn’t speak English, and can’t read the numbered slips. She says she gave my winter coat to another customer by mistake as a result. The other customer is yet to return it. I don’t know whether to believe that story or not. I’m filing a small claim for a $200 winter coat by next week if not.
This joint is way overpriced and and the customer service is truly heinous. The fellow running shop ignored me both times I came in and didn't look up from his phone until I spoke to him directly. I tried to explain that I wanted it dried on a low heat setting as I had some delicate stuff in there and he didn't seem to understand - just looked at me like I was babbling nonsense. Anyways, when I came back I was charged $20 for a relatively small load to be washed and dried. I've been to places that are way cheaper. Plus I swear he said it was $19. After I gave him a note and he didn't give back any change or a receipt, I asked again for the cost and he said $20. There didn't even seem to be a cash register anywhere. He probably charges based on how much he likes you. Perhaps I'm not his type. I will definitely not be going back. I should have taken my stuff without paying. He was so glued to his phone that I doubt he would have noticed.
