Thai Village Massage and Spa Newington

Booked a remedial massage and only got told they couldn’t do a remedial massage because ‘tech issue’ when I got there.

The environment is not good. Each room is not completely isolated, so the sound insulation is particularly poor. You can also hear the front desk talking to other guests. It is very noisy. I think a quiet environment is one of the most important parts of a massage.

It’s always to beautiful to be here. Their service is wonderful and quality of massage is next level. Must try here.

A very quiet & relaxing place. Love the specially professional staff. I enjoyed every minutes of my regular visits to Thai Village Message.

As someone with spinal issues, i am very careful about where i go to get massage.my regular is very professional, highly skilled and possibly very intuitive as every massage has been exactly what ive needed in that given point in time.

My local Thai massage when I moved to the area a year ago! I've been going every so often and so far it has not disappointed in terms of customer service, presentation and ambiance. The masseuses have always been very skillful and effective!

I had the facial massage today, and oh my god, it was so relaxing.
I could feel my body become so weighted and relaxed.
My skin genuinely feels clearer and rejuvenated.
Will definitely be coming again.

Girl at the reception has no idea of customer service whatsoever. Very rude. Scold customers. If you want to feel cared for when you're spending money, which most people do at a massage shop, go somewhere else. Australia is such a nice place that even these awful businesses survive.

Been coming here for the last 3 years. And the massage has always been good, leaving me relaxed and refreshed. I had previously given this place 4 stars.

Unfortunately this time round, I've down graded my rating to 1 star.

I don't understand why they always asks us to fill in a form everytime we visit when they don't even pay attention to the information we've provided.

I had surgery a couple of months ago, so i expected them to avoid putting a lot of pressure around my stomach area. Or even ask how long ago, or where the surgery, or something!

I did ask for a strong massage and expected this pressure to be applied on the areas i indicated needed attention. Instead i got was super soft massage and then she decided to step on me to give the "strong" pressure.

Unfortunately the person massaging me kept on stepping on my lower back and applied pressure on my stomach area. And even though I've asked her not to, she kept doing it.

In the end, I had the most unpleasant massage.

It's unfortunate that this is the only Thai Massage place around near us. Now I have to find another place to go to.

Been there prior and everything was 10/10 - Luckily I didn’t leave 5 stars when I did because the second time was an absolute disrespectful joke. Had a few missed calls whilst at work and no message left, once my partner and I arrived for a much needed massage we got asked to wait 15 minutes, which was ok given I couldn’t answer my phone etc. Which then turned to 30 mins, then asked to pay prior which is normal and fine although when I requested to have 45 mins instead of 1 hour because we have dinner plans, I was looked at as if I’d wasted their time completely and then they started discussing within themselves which led us to just leaving. Fair review I’d say it’s hit and miss.

It was the best experience last time. So I came back. Today it was worst ever. The room was freezing. No heater, I was naked. When I asked the girl to turn on the heater, she just covered my body with the towels. And my room was just next to the street. I could hear cars running and people talking passing by for the 1 hour. It was so annoying. And the girl is not experienced and not skillful. It seems like she was trying but she was really bad. I bet I would be better than her. She just made my whole hair very oily. Now I regret I didn’t just come out earlier.

Very rude receptionist. Doesn’t know how to talk to a customer, kept rolling her eyes and didn’t even get up from her chair the whole time. She gave me wrong info and I had to go with a different service not the one I booked for.

Masseurs are lazy and only pretended to apply pressure when I indicated and asked for firm pressure. Tension was not relieved at all. Felt like I never had any massage at all at the end of the 1-hour session. It’s an an absolute waste of time and money. Go somewhere else if you are after some real massage service.

Made a booking for 7.45pm. Drove 30 minutes to get to this place only to be told they had made a mistake with my booking and given the appointment to someone else. Not cool

Ladies are very friendly and welcoming. The massage itself is amazing. However the environment/shop is not suited for a massage place. It is very hard to relax as the rooms are only cubicles side by side and the walls are very thin. So you can hear clients coming in and out, the massages next to you, talking. You can even hear the cars driving by
