Thai Village Massage and Spa Darlinghurst reviews
15Been going here for the past 4 years and I won’t be coming back anymore. I paid $189 for a 120 min hot compress massage and I got the worst massage therapist. What i had today was not a massage at all. It was just 2 hands gliding through because of slip of the oil. No pressure 95% of the time! The therapist also mistakenly pressed and put hard pressure on my breast that made me scream in pain. It also seemed she was falling asleep all through out my session. Worst experience for $189
Great technique, shoulders and neck which were super sore from work are feeling much better - thank you! Will return for sure!
My partner and I have been many times over the years as locals for foot massages. But the last few times they have been so basic and simple I might as well do it at home myself. No real training seems to be happening and anyone is brought in to use cheap lotion and a hand towel. No more washing the feet, using different lotion types and then a final clean. Also no more ending it with a neck and shoulder massage. Less massage but now at $90.00 for a very basic foot rub. Sorry to say I won't be returning after today's effort.
Best massage I've ever had, I went back again 3 weeks later on my very next trip to Sydney.
Very friendly staff and great treatment with packages definitely recommend to package deals
Im sorry but this was the biggest waste of 100$ i ever did. Girl who gave me foot massage even i told her twice where ish pain and that i dont want her poking me with stick. Iiteraly didnt feel any massage at all. She didnt even touch my calf. I have thai massage once a week for last 5 y. This was the worse one. Girl at the desk didnt even say bye with her headphones on. Horrible
Massages and service have gone down hill since new owners took over, don’t go here anymore
Very very good massage in Sydney.
Nice therapist, nice place
Must be try and get it right now!
I visit this place at least once a month and I Alger the best experience ever! Highly recommend this for a massage, fair places and amazing service
Generous discounts, great staff and receptionist. Best massage and prices. Highly recommended.
After a spate of garden clearing and path paving, muscles were really sore. Needed a relaxing massage and this was it.
Massage for couple
The decor was very nice, reception very friendly but that’s where it ends. Repeatedly told reception no legs or front, even marked it on their paper form, she said they don’t do front… ok good. Started with a weird rubbing of oil and painful pressure point jabbing with elbows but before I could say stop, the masseuse proceeded to rub oil all over my legs so I let him continue he then asked me to turn over, I told him lower back is the problem area not the front. Digging his elbows into my spine was excruciating but thought it might help, big mistake.
By the end of the massage I was in worse pain than when I entered, now 24 hours later I feel like I’ve been punched in the kidneys all weekend.
This is the second worst massage I’ve had in my life and I get them done weekly in Sydney.
I think the fact they wear EarPods and can’t hear your complaints or protests doesn’t help.
At a guess I’d say the masseuse I had was trained the day before and had no idea what he was doing. I’m still in intense pain and will have to take a few days off work as I can’t even bend over without screaming in pain. My wife’s massage was not much better as she can’t move her shoulder without pain.
I expect to get the normal automated reply of
Dear Customer
Thank you so much for your review, this will bring an attention to the owner to improve our staffs quality of customer service. We do apologise for this dissatisfaction…. Ie… thanks for your $200 sucker……
This was a nightmare. I made the mistake of not reading reviews as I was pressed for time.
If you want to relax…. Seriously Avoid
If you want to repair and injury…. Avoid
Excellent Massage, provided a very relaxing and very high quality massage. We booked for 2 and it was by far the most personalized massage, exceeded expectations. Will definitely come back. I can’t comment on the chain, I’ve been to a few locations, some are absolutely amazing, others mediocre. This by far has to be the best, makes sense as they are down the road from masseuse college.
Great massage. Lovely, friendly staff. They very kindly slotted us in for a 30 minute massage. Highly recommend this branch.
The owner/ manager’s name is prince and he is very unkind to both staff and clients. He scams clients by providing only a light pressure point massage when you book a Thai massage. Then when u complain he gets his staff to gang up on u (he makes 3 staff come out and confront u) as if u have done something wrong.
Do not be scammed and demand a full refund for bad service.
Save yourself the drama and attitude.
Many other places treat customers better for $110 per hour u are forking out
