Thai Rock - Potts Point

Thai rock is a hidden gem for non-locals. For locals, this place deserves to be an institution within the area.

The food it serves are amazing and the drinks it makes similarly so.

Interior is classy and will make a nice date whilst also making it accessible for just a casual fare.

Stick to the thai classics and you won’t be disappointed, we have just come back from Thailand and was very impressed by how similar the dishes were in quality to the original.

Pad thai, pad see ew, and their curries will make you want to come back for more. Heartily recommend this place. Their thai milk tea is also an easy recommend.

The food delicious, very quick and tasty but the service was not what we where expecting, we had to ask the staff to pick up our empty plates and telling them to bring us more drinks because they were not even looking at us and was late, not even busy anymore

Our drinks were magnificently done. My friend and I had dinner which was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredient’s especially the beans that came with the pork. It was yum! The lights in the restaurant were too dim for a nice place to eat out. Overall a very nice place to eat Thai food.

Delicious food and cocktails, with friendly staff and great service! Super convenient to get to, cute decor and all affordably priced. Will definitely be back!:)

Food and service was 11/10. I had the lamb Massaman and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I’m also coeliac, the staff (Amy in particular) was very knowledgable about the menu and relayed this information to the kitchen. I highly recommend here for some AMAZING food

Fantastic Thai restaurant in the heart of Kings Cross Bayswater Rd. Really nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and amazing cocktails (seriously, try a few of their cocktails. All the ones I tried were excellent). On top of all this, very reasonably priced considering where it is and the quality of the food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Wonderful evening at Thai Rock. Relaxed atmosphere and great service. Meals were all to die for, with the favourite being the green curry with chicken. Would absolutely recommend

A nice experience here at Thai rock. Very quiet at 6pm (we were the only ones there) but that meant we got to sit near the window. The starters were OK, bit frustrating we couldn't swap for much. Penang curry was an absolute winner and would recommend that.

Food was incredibly salty, and music was headache-inducingly loud. Two requests for reduction of volume didn't effect change.
We asked for chilli on the side, but the kitchen ignored this. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she made a joke of it.
The kicker came when were were charged $1 for a plastic container for our leftovers and 80c for the bag we didn't ask for, to carry it in. No warning that there would be a charge for the container.
Rude.
Never going back.

We took our 10 month old out for dinner here and they were extremely accommodating all the way.

The service was very friendly and we were happy with the food. We asked for some extra spice, which our server described perfectly to us and gave us just the right amount.

Once our baby started to get a bit noisy, we thought we’d have the rest of the meal as take away to save other diners the trouble of his excitement. They were very quick to get the bill and pack up the food, so we could make a swift exit.

Best Pad Thai I have ever eaten. Portions are generous and the food is a visual delight. The prawn cake appetizer is a real treat. Service was excellent and made for a wonderful evening during on our Sydney holiday.

DELIGHTED that we make the booking for dinner on Sunday -14 NOV 2021, very POSITIVE. In fact, we have always enjoys our lunch / dinners at Thai Rocks since its Grand opening in Pott Points a few years ago.

Cocktail drinks, wines selection and all ordered meals are good and very well prices for their beautiful establishment and good space, good size Dining table and comfortable chairs. A very PLEASANT ambience and space to dine in.

All food within their Menu are really good, love the Ice Cream desert as well. It's good that the Chef of the restaurant have not change since the opening of Thai Rock Potts Point, the Owners make an effort to upkeep a HIGH level of QUALITY in acquiring all produces ensuring that all dishes does maintains a high standard as SIGNATURE to their reputation.

Like most restaurant in Sydney, good front-line staffs waitress / waiters are in shortage due to the pandemic situation. Equally and unfortunately, numbers of customers are proportionally less than normal on Sunday evening. However, services maintain well with good-manner and pleasant front-line staffs team as always.

It was one of the best thai restaurants I've been so far. Environment was great and staff was friendly and professional. Dish portions are perfect, slightly smaller than usual Thai restaurants, however it is enough to make you full and you won't waste any food! Prices are matched with the service, highly recommended

I had my Birthday here n it’s truly magical, the restaurant looks divine, the staff super friendly n efficient, the food was superb! Truly yummiest Thai in a long time! Plus the bar serves amazing cocktails, really beautiful experience, I can’t wait to come back, 5 stars all the way️
