I'm thrilled with my beautiful house built by Tempo Living. The speed from pre-construction to completion (March to September) was impressive, and the result is beyond words.their Symphony design has got everything I wish to have in my dream home.

We have recently started our home construction with Tempo Living. Sahar has been specially very helpful in answering all our questions. She has shown her professionalism through out the consultation phase helping us to choose the right home and inclusions. I recommend Tempo Living and Sahar to any one looking build a new home. Tempo Living is an Award winning home builder looking forward to see my home being built soon.

We started our Tempo Journey with the lovely Leigh K.at the Marsden Park display home. She was great! Well informed and provided us heaps of options and information to help us with our decision.

Our experience with Tempo Living has been nothing short of outstanding, largely due to the exceptional assistance provided by their dedicated sales agent Haroun Davids. We made the right decision with choosing Tempo Living as our builder. They are very professional and have been so supportive and responsive all throughout the consultation and build process. We understand how difficult it has been for the construction industry especially during the pandemic, but we are so thankful and proud of Tempo for keeping their word and really going the extra mile to help families like us who dream of having their own home. We are currently building with Tempo living. Great experience so far. Building home is always stressful, however Tempo Living made this as an enjoyable journey for us. We are very happy with Tempo Living. Their initial quote was reasonable with no hidden cost, and everything has gone based on the schedule, with constant update from the team. We know that managing a construction project is sophisticated and Tempo Living has done that very well. I would highly recommend them. Also their staff are friendly and organised. Our experience with Tempo has been excellent. Being first home buyers and hearing horror stories of build gone wrong we were apprehensive but boy o boy tempo was absolutely brilliant in terms of build time and QUALITY. We are under warranty and have a hard time finding one defect. Most people who visited us complimented the builder. Even the standard fitting are built with utmost care and quality. We would like to thank you contractor JOE he was excellent in addressing any issues and arranging the property inspection at regular intervals. We would love to give 5 stars and come back to you when we build our next one.

We would like to thank the whole Team of Tempo Living for guiding us in building our future home. From Arne and Jeremy who helped us customized the layout that we wanted and up to the hassle free contract signing. We also, would like to commend Alison for accommodating all our request, last minute variations, and all your suggestions and advice was indeed a great help. Tempo builds beautiful homes and I am incredibly happy with their service throughout the process. Both Alison and the builder Joe were especially helpful with keeping me posted throughout the build and assisted me with any suggestions I had. Their entire team are a delight to deal with and very reasonable prices for such high quality service and product. I would strongly recommend them for building your house:)

WOW what a home! A huge thank you to Tempo Living for creating our incredible new home. From our initial enquiry to handover the process of building was such an enjoyable experience. From paying our tender fee we had an acceptance meeting within four weeks and once we signed our building contract we had an on-site start date. As soon as construction began we even had a move in date locked in! We were anxious about on-site costs as we know they can blow out very quickly - but with Tempo Living our site costs were fixed; we knew exactly what we would be paying.

A huge thank you to our site supervisor Paul who guided us through the build, he was so organised and patient in answering all of our questions. Thank you also to the design team for all of your guidance and recommendations. We are blown away with the design and the use of space. We couldn’t recommend Tempo Living highly enough to anyone looking for a cost effective, functional design and quality builder. We are very happy and proud new home owners.

*Key Message* - Make sure you have a good Solicitor if dealing with Tempo. I hope I save someone out there the heartache of going through this ordeal with Tempo.

Summary of my disappointing and exhausting experience with Tempo Homes/Living - I wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their time, money and effort:

- Wasted 4 months of my time and effort with Tempo, only to get screwed over at the end when they gave me the contracts to sign. Refused to honour their end of the deal.

- Tempo's Lawyers - Reimers Legal completely unprofessional to work with and contributed to making sure this deal was destroyed.

- At the beginning, Tempo promised and agreed that a 5% deposit would be payable on Home & Land Package upon exchange. Contracts came through and Land Deposit was increased to 10%. Tempo kept reassuring me "simple fix - will get resolved". Weeks and months went by and communication from Tempo and Tempo's Lawyers refused to honour the deal/deposit that THEY promised to me in Sales Option Deed Advice months before the Contract.

- Tempo's Lawyers - Reimers Legal acknowledged in writing that 5% deposit promised initially was an "error" by Tempo in the Sales Advice, but that Tempo cannot change the Land Contract. Absolutely no apology, or remedy or compensation provided for this error.

- I paid a $5k Deposit on the Home & Land Package on good faith that this promise would be adhered to. Promise was broken, but despite requesting refund of $5k deposit from Lawyers, no response was provided.

- Correspondence between Tempo's Lawyers - Reimers would take weeks and weeks to receive, and then response would be blunt, dismissive and unexplanatory on respective matters.

- E-mail correspondence from Tempo Operations Manager was minimal in resolving any of the above matters. No level of customer service offered and no level of care.

- During Tender stage, I was promised (in writing) that an HIA contract would be provided for the House Build. HIA Contracts are standard practice across NSW and provide a standard list of inclusions/clauses/provisions to protect both the buyer and the seller. Instead, I was provided with a bespoke home building agreement created by Tempo and their lawyers. This agreement was heavily weighted in favour of Tempo to protect them, not the buyer (me) at all, and any modifications/alterations to this bespoke non-standard contract were refused. Tempo even acknowledged via e-mail that the "HIA contract" promised in writing within the Tender was an error on their behalf.

Summary - I wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their time, money and effort with Tempo. If you happen to make this mistake, I hope you've got a good Solicitor who can see through the cracks. If you've already paid a deposit, like me, you're going to end up losing it. You wouldn't go to any other business and agree on a price to purchase something and then expect them to turn around at the end and change the deposit %. Tempo did this, and their lawyers acknowledged this and just shrugged their shoulders.

I hope I save someone out there the heartache of going through this ordeal with Tempo.

The process from contract, preconstruction, and to site was easy and stress free, and what Tempo Living had committed to us the from very beginning was delivered to us in excellent time. Tempo Living’s creative design meant we were able to have a spacious home with yard despite our limited block size. The Tempo Living staff were attentive and helpful at every step of the way and we would highly recommend a Tempo Living home.
