Temple Tattoo & Dreadlocks Byron Bay

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. They rang my daughter after she enquired earlier in the day and offered her an appointment at midday (in an hour's time). My daughter paid a $50 deposit. We then looked at the time and realised there is no way we could make it in time as we live an hour away. Before the phone call ended, we said it looked unlikely that we could make it so could we push it back later in the day. The receptionist said she had already taken our deposit and we would lose it because we had cancelled within 24 hours. I demanded she refunded the money as she had only just made the appointment after calling us! She said "Well, why did you make an appointment if you can't make it? ". I understand that businesses have "rules" but surely there is room for flexibility given we were still on the phone and the receptionist said they were incredibly busy with lots of walk-ins! They refused to refund us even though it had been literally 2 minutes since they took our money. No doubt they are going to say I was rude. Damn right, I was! The receptionist refused to even listen and they took our money after calling us to make an appointment and refused to refund us even though the making of the appointment and changing our mind due to the time pressure THEY PUT ON US to get there was literally a minute apart. Absolutely DISGUSTING SERVICE. The receptionist was categorically the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. She was talking over the top of me and refusing to listen. I will be contacting the Department of Fair Trading about their unscrupulous tactics.

Went with my son for his first tattoo, was able to get one my self as a walk in as it was not planed.
The guys were grate highly recommended and we will be back

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Tom. I came in off the street with no appointment and he was very accommodating. He didn’t make me feel rushed and helped me to bring my vision to life. Tom’s service was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend him if you’re wanting to get tattooed in Byron!

Chris was amazing I was very anxious about getting my first tattoo but I was instantly put at ease the tattoo is exactly what I asked for well prices and I am very pleased with it.all staff in shop were extremely friendly and helpful would highly recommend x

Left this review quite late but a couple months ago I had gotten my first tattoo with my Grandfathers name tattooed in Hindi on my wrist and it was done amazingly by Thomas. He took his time to understand what I wanted done and ensured it was up to standard and he did a phenomenal job. I do plan on getting more tattoos in the future so whenever I visit Byron Bay again, I’m definitely coming back to this place.

My partner and I both got tattoos with Nick at Temple Tattoo, and he was incredible! Couldn’t recommend him enough. He was so easy going and made sure we were 100% happy before he started. He did everything we asked and the tattoos were perfect! Great guy, great tattoo shop!

Tom did mine and my partners first ever tattoos and nailed both of them took great care of us we will be going back again for more touch ups soon

Absolutely brilliant. I went in yesterday with a vague idea of what I wanted. Gab explained to me the system and how it would work (or not work) with some designs. I went back this morning with a clearer idea and Gab drew up a design. It was nowhere near as painful as I expected for a rib tattoo. I am so so SO happy with the final result. Thank you Gab, you're awesome. X
