Trying to book an appointment or call someone at a phone store is impossible, go figure. You wouldn't think it would be that hard to try and give them business. Website doesn't offer appointments after 4 which for people who work is more than a joke.
I would like to just say, I have been having issues with my bill and had been to the Telstra shop at Glendale and online with no help at all. I went into the Telstra shop at Kotara today and with the help of Jacob, my problem was solved and I was out the door within 15 minutes. Thankyou for being so very friendly and helpful today Jacob and I would recommend this shop over any other one, anytime. I will be back soon to get another phone. Thanks Jacob.
I generally despise dealing with telecommunications and avoid it if i can as it's always a very convoluted annoying process. Today I changed networks and set up a business number for myself and Bella made the process so easy. She is an asset to Telstra and will go long way in customer service. Thanks again.
You need a phone shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you sort out the problems

Great experience at kotara Telstra store today, come in store with a small issues regarding my phone plan.
Young Conrad was so helpful and cheery, they were able to update and change my plan that was best for me and my situation.
45 minute wait to be booked in to see someone while two staff members sat around serving no one.
Telstra a so called communications company where you join the que and wait 3 hours to access service!
I visited 4 Telstra store locations on the day because they had closed stores in Newcastle west and Jesmond.
Only get a sim because only service at work.
1 star Or No star at all. I have requested to cancel my old NBN because I have moved to a new NBN deal. I have approached Kotara Telstra and Emily, who came to serve me. How unfortunate!
I have instructed her clearly to disconnect the old Invoice and leave the new connection as is.
Obviously no, she did not follow my instructions so she disconnected my new NBN instead of the OLD ONE. I showed her my old invoice in front of her while she was changing on the computer.once done i thought it was ok, & drove home.so it was only later when I got home that I realised she disconnected the new NBN & hence NO phone landline either. So I got so upset and hurried back, and had to return to the same shop, but Emily had left for the day. So Haylee, who was there, helped to resolve the problem. Network is back working after 4 hours.but has caused me and our managers so much grief and drama. While the other business has no internet for 2 days. How frustrating.as it was a business phone and internet, it caused major inconvenience to our guests and managers.
I have never been so disappointed with your staff. She was unprofessional. If she did not know what she was doing then she should not work there at all.
Would rate 1 if I could. Rude lazy staff. One member of staff has a job there and Woolies Kotara. What a joke. They must employ lazy staff
Very bad customer service was sitting there for 40 minutes and the workers were just out the back with no communication
Great experience with porting my phone from my previous provider, and make the transaction seamless. Was able to provide us with a cheaper bill. Operation manager reached out to check in after and provide number of any issues were to arise for future help.
Went in to get help with my laptop. It is now worse than ever before. Having to make another appointment to get it fixed. Not happy, it used to be such a helpful shopshop.butthreaneed to train their staff
Walked in to get help with a simple request and was told it’d be an hour and a half wait before I could talk to anyone. Time wasters.
Don't get me stared on rating telstra. Waiting times are ridiculous, even when there is no one in the store. You are passed from from one staff member to another. No one seems to know what they are doing. It's a disgrace. I moved to Optus.
I went into this telstra store to get my phone repaired or replace as i am under telstra smart cover premium protection which i pay a monthly fee for and was told by one of the staff that i had to pay still to get it covered which is the opposite of what i was told when i purchased the phone also the staff member was very rude and inconsiderate, terrible customer service.
Was told to come in to fix a fruadulant purchase but got told to equire through the My telra app. Which in the first place told me to goto the store and provide them with proof it wasnt my purchase.
Issue still hasnt been resolved and just keep going in circles
Great service. I was told they would call me when an appointment was available and it took about 20 minutes as they said. Staff were very courteous and helpful. I have always used other providers before, but was happy with the service and deal today, so will stick with Telstra from now on.
