Techton Building Services

I engaged Techton to support a development application and unfortunately we were caught up in the 2022 Northern Rivers Floods. The asset was destroyed and I had a discussion with Techton to refund the balance of inspections not used (all paid up front). Verbally it was all OK and agreed, but after asking three times by email, I stopped asking. I understand business is business, but there is also empathy, compassion and ethics in business. During the devastating floods their were people who stood up to help and some that stood back to profit. Unfortunately Techton is in the second category.

Be very careful one of the personal assistants there is very rude. I made a complaint about her but fell on deaf ears from her supervisors - I would not recommend this company. There work is tardy unprofessional and very rude staff. I went to this company on advice from others but regret this advice.

We use Techton for all our building certification - very competent & very professional, Techton have worked with us on everything from small scale residential to large scale commercial & industrial projects - I highly recommend them.
