Denis and his team have helped me out with urgent puncture repairs, and even loaned me a spare tyre, while my rim needed repairing after hitting a nasty pothole, and my tyre was on order.

Excellent car repair shop. Exceptional customer service. I had the low beam headlights of my car blown out and it was getting dangerous to drive. All other car repair shops flatly refused to attend my car and asked me to come a week later because they were booked out. Target took my call, showed empathy, understood the concern and how grave the stutuation was, and offered to squeeze me in between their bookings for a car check. It was a great example of empathy shown to a customer, thereby reducing the risk on road for the driver. It was just a 15 min job which others did not want to attend but Target could squeeze in.
This is the second time they accommodated me at a short notice, first one was my pink slip appointment that they could squeeze in, which others around Marsden Park, Schofields and riverstone refused to accomodate. Target automotive will be my go to car service shop from now. They have a human touch to their service, unlike other service centres which have a rigid take-it-or-leave-it attitude.

Margaret, Dennis and the team went above and beyond with a service done on my landcruiser. Being new to the area it's refreshing to find a great local shop you can trust will do a good job on your car. For anyone around the Riverstone, Schofields, Tallawong area this is the place to send your car/4wd for mechanical work. Thanks again Target Team!

The best family mechanic ever. Honest and reliable. Even when the news has been bad they have always been supportive and done great work.

I first used Target Automotive for pink slips and because they're close to my house. I believe that the positive reviews for this business are for pink slips or minor services. While they're very good at that, please DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT go to Target for anything apart from pink slips and minor service.

Unless you have a lot of money and time and you want to keep going back for problems which did not exist in your car before.

Without going in to too much detail, here's what happened to me:

1. Replaced spark plugs and some cable leads and then suddenly, there's a suspension problem.
2. Handed the car in for suspension problem, they fixed it BUT there was a crack on the windshield! Luckily, my trusty dashcam footage proved that the crack did not exist before handing my car in and only then they replaced the windshield.
3. Coolant fluid was leaking, so I still went to them and thought I would give them one more chance, but when I got the car home, the leak was worse than before they "fixed" the problem. And there's more, suddenly my engine light is on! I called Dennis and he said he "assumed" that I knew about the light and didn't bother mentioning it to me. Now, they're not accepting any responsibility and will not fix the issue which did not exist before handing the car in for the coolant leak.

Please do not be fooled by the positive reviews and their friendly demeanor. If you value your money and time, please look elsewhere.

Target Automotive only really Target your bank account balance/credit card and not the issue with your car. Stay away!

Edited to respond to the owner - I don't believe it's deceptive on my end to find out a crack on the windshield (with dashcam proof shown to the owner) and to leave my car for over a day to find out that the coolant leak wasn't fixed in spite of paying $500 AND the engine light was on after getting the car back.

Target automotive are an exceptional shop with a level of service not often found anywhere anymore. We had some tyres fitted there and afterwards there was a strange feeling which concerned my wife (of no fault of the shop) Dennis insisted he come out to where my wife was to ensure the car was safe to drive and see if he could identify the issue which we later discovered was a sensor not liking newer tyres on the front with older ones on the rear.

I really appreciate their concern for their customers and would definitely recommend them for any needs.
