Taplin Park Playground

I go kayaking here all the time. The boat area and park are busy but in a good way. I almost got stung by a jellyfish once but it was a false alarm. Thanks for your concern though.

What a great place to take the children. Far enough away from the water to be safe yet picturesque.

This is a nice spacious park. Overlooking harbour and next to Dumoyne Oval. Ice safe place to launch the boat and big parkings for car and trailer.

Great little playground for younger kids. Shaded play equipment is good but no shady spots to sit and eat. It can feel a bit too small when it gets very busy.

Huge open park near the waterfront in Drummoyne. Kids can play footy, ride their bikes on the wide path or play in the playground with plenty of space to have a picnic rug. There is a dog friendly section. There are toilets here but no cafe. The Bakehouse and Raw Cafe are not far though

Looking for a place to jog this is ok for that ground is a bit uneven. But good for doing laps round the oval to get kms up

Watch out for the parking inspectors, even on a Sunday. Needs more car parking, not just for boat trailers.

If you need a large patch of grass this has that. If you are going for cricket, bring sunshade, there is no shade close to the fields.

It is a great place to have a picnic a fish and children can play in the play ground or play football or what ever you like to do, like family get together a barq

Great, beautiful spot to go to down on the bay! Has a park for kids to play out, a footy field, another footy practice goal, a basketball court, and a large field which you can take your dog for a walk. This place is also a good place to wait before entering into Drummoyne oval. Definitely would recommend!

Clean, relaxing & good for families. Too many dogs running around sometimes disturbing though

Good boat ramp. Need cameras there they broke into my car. I've taken the boat out at the boat ramp.

Good space, ok adventure playground for kids. Playground filled with mulch however, so a bit messy for the kids running around in it.

Beautiful setting for sunset, views of yachts, and Gladsville Bridge, short esplanade walk from boat ramp with couple resting benches, plenty of parking for boats with trailers, but, 2hr car parking only.

Fantastic area for plane spotting, especially when the wind comes from the north. Landing gears extended at this spot and with good vision, eye to eye contact with pax and crew not impossible. Just don't go there for any other purposes (other than launching boats), as the jet noise can really get to you after a while.

Great boat ramp, with 2 hours parking only for a few cars, if you stay long Park on street, as the parking officer will book you.
