39We ate here before going to Tina The Musical. The staff-including the owner-were very friendly & attentive. The food we chose was amazing-freah & so yummy. We will definitely go back next time we are in the city!

First time trying this place out. Food was really fresh and tasty. Customer service was amazing too.
Amazing food, fantastic service! Every time we are staying in the CBD we go, even if it’s only for takeaway
Terrible experience. We arrived for dinner late (before 22pm) because according to Google they close at 11pm. However, in less than 10 minutes, they brought us the bill. Five minutes later they asked us while we were having dinner if we wanted the food to go!
We were not told at any time that we would have to have dinner and leave the restaurant in 20 minutes. Disappointing
The beef and broccoli stir-fry is a classic, and this restaurant does it justice. The beef is tender, and the broccoli is perfectly cooked.
Great Cantonese food. Meeting the standards in HK. Atmosphere was good too and staff was friendly.
The seafood dishes are especially fresh and flavorful. The prawns are huge and juicy, and the fish is always cooked to perfection.
The salt and pepper squid is a crowd-pleaser. It's crispy, spicy, and full of flavor.
The manager at this restaurant clearly knows their stuff. They've created a top-notch establishment that's a joy to visit.
The cocktails at this Chinese restaurant are truly works of art. I was blown away by the presentation and the taste.
The waitresses at this Chinese restaurant are so welcoming and friendly. They really made us feel like VIPs.
Whilst the food was ok - the service is scattered and our drinks didn’t arrive until the main course? Seems they struggled at times. My friend thought $17.00 for a glass of budget Chardonnay was a bit on the nose
The food was delicious, very much Hong Kong style. I especially liked the duck pancakes.
The very dirty synthetic flowers on the table and a dirty wall were off-putting though. I tried to look away as all the dirt was rather nauseating.
Not enough wait staff (the person I did get was very nice though).
Dumplings were average.
Main meal nice.
Bit overpriced given the experience
Food is as good as it looks. Flavours here are very unique and do not disappoint the tongue. Prices are reasonable for a decent meal. The place is a popular spot for people to meet, so you may expect to wait to get a seat but definitely worth the wait.
Not only was the food great, the service was impeccable as well. They were very attentive especially to allergies and I really appreciate that.the waiter/waitress while we were there! Despite being so busy, they still made sure to connect with us at our table.
Terrible service, almost had drinks spilled on us two times. They did not charge us the price on the menu for our drinks and instead charged us more. When we asked about it they did not subtract any money from our bill. For only three dishes and three drinks it felt overpriced.
We had a great lunch at Tao today. Delicious food, the service was even better. We were given very honest suggestions of what dishes to order and the amount of food, unlike some restaurants that always push you to order more.
Do not go here for group dinners! The food was over salted and took 2 hours to come out with no warning that they were short a chef. The owner did not communicate to us and we kept asking where the food was and they kept saying it was coming instead of clearly communicating that service would be slow. We spent over $400 and were still hungry. We sat down at 630pm and ordered drinks and food pretty fast then the drinks didn't come out for an hour then the waiter said we didn't order them when we checked with him. So we ordered drinks for a second time only for them to take another 30mins to come out. We didn't leave this disaster of an experience until 9pm! Honestly don't bother going here. There are plenty of better places around the CBD.
