Tamworth Visitor Information Centre reviews
15Overall was good, except for not giving us information about the Toyota free event at the park in the cbd, therefore we missed out on the first night, so that was kind of dissapointing
Avoid.
Just broadly insulted by your colleague Lyn - haphazard entrance policy with no explanation and an insult.
Excellent info of things to do. Has Cafe and awesome guitar museum and country stars wax museum at a very reasonable price. Well worth the visit!
Stay clear of old bat in the info centre. Cafe still closed but fast food still open available from the same carpark.
Really friendly & knowledgeable staff. Also some good bits of memorabilia & merchandise in there (& of course the obligatory photo with the giant guitar)
Definitely somewhere to visit if you haven't been there before. Get your photo with the big golden guitar and the coffee and the new cafe is fantastic.make sure you spend the time there to go through the museum,
The lady we spoke to was an absolute pleasure. She was so sweet and had a ton of suggestions for things to do.
Marj was a fantastic help as we are from North Queensland. It is also the Country music wax museums.
Having been to the hall of fame, we liked to find out more about the area, expected to find a visitor information centre with great information and souvenirs like we are used to in Australia.we where very disappointed totally disagree with keeping it confined to the music only.the staff were great, but what a waste of space and opportunity of volunteers.
Great place, very disappointed in not being able to buy souvenirs of Tamworth.t-shirts. Singlets. Need to promote the town. Lots of visits more money for the town.
The lady we spoke to was pleasant but wasn't very enthusiastic. We walked out feeling like it was a waste of time talking to her.
The staff were awesome and very helpful the wax museum a wee bit of a disappointment they no longer have a souvenir shop another disappointment as no where in Tamworth is there another so all in all I feel I can't give it 5 stars
Good cafe, great coffee. Pity, it's closing. Currently 50% off all records, clothing, souvenirs, etc.
Staff are friendly and very helpful, although getting there was a bit hard signs to show you the way hardly exist
Quite interesting mainly tourist giftshop. Had some waxworks, Don Bradman museum Golden Guitar.
