Peter made sure it was Tim's day. Made sure he was comfortable and confident with no pressure at all for anything. He was quick at responding to my emails and questions and showed professionalism throughout my entire experience. My dog's an older dog with a few neurological issues, and Peter allowed us to take things at Tim's pace. The photos he managed to capture are beautiful, and for a Kelpie who never sits still, this is a struggle. The entire process was amazing. I definitely recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Wildlife Photography Workshop hosted by Peter at Sydney Zoo. Wow! What an exciting day! Peter offered helpful advice and was kind enough to share his journey, this was inspiring and motivating for a beginner photographer like myself.

We were given the amazing opportunity to get up close with hyenas, zebras, rhinos and lions which made for some great photos but just being close to these amazing animals made my day!

I recently attended a workshop led by Peter and had such a great day. Peter is so generous with his knowledge and his talent and passion for his work is truly inspirational.

Peter made Missy feel right at home letting her settle in and have a seat on the couch where she is most comfortable before her photoshoot. Peter also took the time to get to know my scruffy cavoodle and gave her so much cheese - her favourite! She had a great time. I loved that I was allowed to jump up on Peters studio/stage to encourage Missy so she felt more comfortable to get the shots that were amazing! Missy’s portrait arrived beautifully packaged and I couldn’t be happier! I love all the shots Peter captured, but especially the one from behind. My scruff ball looked like a classy lady!

I really do not have the words to say how amazingly talented and empathetic Peter is. I cried when I saw the proofs, and again when I saw the artwork. Peter captured the spirit, dignity and beauty of my girls, with a touch of humour and cheekiness that they have in spades. I cannot recommend highly enough. Animals trust and like him, and that says it all in my book. 100 stars

Meeting Peter and the Tame & Wild Studio was a fantastic experience and we're so glad that we came across this! The entire photoshoot was so professional, fun and exciting. The actual photography output and coffee table books are gorgeous and of such high quality. Our little fur baby (Toby, British Blue Shorthair) was super comfortable and happy at Peter's Studio. And he got lots of treats and love too! We will definitely be back in the near future for another photoshoot once Toby is a full grown adult!

Peter has captured Ginger's personality, attitude and enthusiasm for food all in some beautiful images, we are so happy with the final product and so pleased to have these images as an everlasting memory of our special "good boy".

The Tame & Wild experience was amazing, the studio was fantastic and Peter was patient, accommodating and a calming influence on Ginger.

We appreciate he took the time to get to know Ginger as well as his parents and are pleased that he is a passionate animal person and he works around helping animals in need.

It was such a positive experience working with Peter. He was extremely welcoming and kind, and the whole process was so easy. My cat usually hates new places and always hides in the corner, but with Peter calming energy my cat jumped on the sofa and claimed it as his own. We couldn’t recommend Peter and his studio more highly. After having our family dog pass away late last year we knew that we had to capture some precious photos of our beloved pup Alfie. Peter was warm, accommodating and made our anxious and shy dog come out of his shell and find comfort in front of the camera. On attending the photo viewing session we were delighted with the photos taken and couldn’t pick which one to order…so we got 5! The acrylic prints are a beautiful addition to our family home and get lots of comments and praise from family and friends. Thanks again Peter for making this experience a very pleasant one, we will treasure these photos for a long time to come.

Peter was so professional yet approachable! My dog is my best friend and it was so special to me to not only get beautiful photos to cherish forever but that the experience was easy and fun for him too and it was! Peter made him think he was there specifically to have fun and get treats, not only taking his time and keeping his cool when things didn't go as planned but embracing it and getting incredible shots because of it.
Peter makes you feel like you've always known him and can talk to him about anything and everything especially your furbaby without any judgement or the 'hurry up' comments/body language that you would usually get if your babbling too much haha.
Apart from the above i was most impressed by Peters dedication to his clients. He kept me up to date throughout the whole experience and didn't blink at any inconvenience I may have created!
I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and definitely would recommend him to anyone!

Today, I received the photographic artwork from Tame & Wild Studio which I will treasure forever. Peter isn’t just a brilliant animal photographer, he’s an animal whisperer and all round lovely guy. He takes the time to get to know your pet and earn their trust which seems to come very quickly even with the most untrusting. Because of this, he captures their personality with amazing skill. When my fur babies are no longer here, I’ll always have these to remember them by. Priceless!

This was an excellent experience and definitely something we will cherish for years to come. Peter was flawless in his care and interactions with our pup and had her eating out of the palm of his hand before he even began. The only problem we had was choosing the photos because they were all amazing; we just couldn’t decide which ones to choose.

Got a voucher from the vet for the photoshoot experience. Peter was amazing with my cat which got comfortable quickly. Very happy with the results. Ordered a couple of canvas prints which were done well. Not the cheapest photographer around but worth it!

He was so amazing and knew exactly how to handle my moody 11 year old cat, Pom Pom! Peter is super patient, kind and didn’t rush the appointment at all. Although pompom wasn’t the easiest model, Peter got the most amazing photos of him that I will cherish forever! So so happy! Couldn’t recommended anyone better to capture your beautiful animals

Tame & Wild is an experience like no other for you and your pet. At the very least is a fun photo shoot day. At it's best, it's a fantastic way to preserve memories of your furry family member (or even feathery or scaly) for all time. Especially if you get this done while they're still a puppy.

Peter was great and the experience was very personal. He really makes an effort to get to the bottom of what you want and what will bring out the best qualities of your pet's personality. There's even a fun questionnaire from your pet's perspective that might even help you get to know them better.
