T2 Tea reviews
38The best customer service I’ve received in forever! Big big thanks to the team for helping make my gift special:)
There staff at this store were awesome- Especially Jade. So friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. The staff all tried every possible place to locate the tea I wanted, even though the tea itself has been discontinued, I left with a very positive experience and some lovely tea accessories.
T2 please bring back “Egg Nog “ loose leaf tea! It was the best!
Great tea store with a larger selection than other T2 stores. The staff are also very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations on teaware and types of teas. I definitely recommend if you have any interests in tea and would like to purchase some for either yourself of people around you. They also wrap the teasets and put them in nice boxes, or they also have gift sets that look very pretty.
A fabulous range of teapots. Friendly, attentive and appealing staff. On Saturday 20th May, 2023, I visited the store and bought an amazing blue-themed teapot for one, together with a matching teacup & saucer. See photo!
I was served by the charming manageress of this magical store.
This is THE place to buy a teapot in Chatswood, or anywhere!
Totally ignored for ages so that 2 of them could have a chat (they were even facing me, would be so easy to see me lost and needing help). I just walked out and never to go back again.
Came in a few weeks ago and was offered great advice on selecting different flavoured sleepy teas. I was also a very annoying customer and really wanted the black cap for the basket infuser to match what I had at home (and for my OCD). When we gave up looking, another staff member found it in a random box hidden in their cabinet. Full marks for teamwork, and knowing your product. I'm glad the teas I bought all had a unique aroma, otherwise by myself I would of probably bought the same flavoured tea with different names thrice.
Beautiful tea wears and even different types of tea are sold here. Typical Chinese crockery but very attractive. Though little costly.
If you have to give a gift to someone, you must visit this shop.
No one can imitate their various and innovative designs and types of tea.
If you go on Thursday or Friday, there is a weekend market in front of you, so you can shop various things.
The saleswoman with short brown hair is always pushy and aggressive. She follows customers too closely and breathes down their neck to force products on people. What the heck?
I visited the shop yesterday to purchase a tea warmer base, at the counter the sales assistance processed the payment and handed me the base which was the display. I said "could I have a new boxed one please? " She then said it was the last one but she could refund me if I wanted. The display was covered in scratches. She said it was going to be scratched up after I used it anyway. I just took it but felt bad about paying full price for a damaged item. It was my first time shopping here and probably won't return.
Great T2, had some excellent deals/sale on last time I visited so I ended up purchasing more than I intended! But the products were great, I got a Sticky Choc Chai tea for $20 (down from $30 which I think is overpriced), Hot Jam Brownie Tea and Hot Choc Tea. The Chai is definitely my favourite and I will be buying again!
I love this place, the tea is amazing, only sad thing is that every time I go in to buy french earl gray they have run out of the large bag refill option. Still, their products are amazing and staff are very helpful?
Good selection of teas and utensils. But in the expensive side.
Tea pot with the cup set is about $50 but similar style and design was $10 at ALDI which also came with a gift box. T2 set didn't, but they did pack it in a T2 branded box.
The young staff were seriously inattentive and really need to learn some basic manners: They were asking “ are you alright? ” instead of “how can I help you? ” when we were waiting to pay. I don’t think “you need to purchase a bag” is better than “ do you want to purchase a bag? ” Also this young lady was impatient the whole time with her poker face on. She needs to learn about the correct way to work in hospitality industry.
Last week when i went there there was a lady who assisted me and had an amazing customer service. This week when i went there to buy my friend a gift set, there was a young lady who was rude. Maybe because i am brown skin. Horrible customer service! Never going back! Be a little kind, doesn't hurt!
I went there to buy a gift today. A staff assisted me very kindly and I decided to get sale items (it was 100 dollars in total). Unfortunately, an unkind young girl helped me to pay then she charged me 28 dollars more. I checked my tax invoice and asked the staff to fix my bill. She seems annoyed, didn't explain what happen, and never apologised. After that, she took my original receipt without say anything and just gave me the refund receipt that does not show all the items that I bought.
I do understand that it is hard to provide good service all the time, but her attitude and customer service was very rude and horrible.
Great range, aesthetically pleasing displays, easy layout to navigate, and helpful staff. Can't fault it.
The girl in the counter at Chatswood Westfield today (around 545pm) was not friendly at all. She was rushing through the payment. We got 2 items one priced $25 dollars in sale original was around $40 and another $10 dollars in sale. The girl billed us $59, was baffled and upon asking she said because i was using the new member discount thats why i wont get the other discount. I mean offcourse i will use my 50% discount over 10%. As part of customer service service she should’ve talked me into the best deal instead of me having to investigate why i didnt get the discount.
Nice attempt at gift wrapping (I wasn't offered a choice of gift paper; the lady chose a childish design). It was not tightly wrapped, so the wrapping came loose, which was fine as I was able to pop in another gift in the box and redo the wrapping to a more sophisticated design. Definitely join up (free membership) as you get 10% off.
A young Asian lady was quite inattentive despite no one else was and I was waiting to check out the item - the guy who was wrapping the gift apologized for my wait - but come one when you see the customer wating to pay - the lady should come and assist the customer!
