Great staff very friendly and helpful receptionist and couldn't have wished for a better experience for my partner and myself.
Some people posting derogatory and personal comments must be living on another planet.

Mixed feelings about this franchise. We’ve come here many times in the past based on referrals from our specialist doctors so weren’t really given many alternative options. They do have one of the best reputations for their ultrasound machines and expertise but their people skills probably need a lot of work. Reception and certain sonographers come across very cold and standoffish and given you’re paying about $400-500 per scan it can feel ridiculous. One thing to call out is the absolute fabulous care of Dr. Andrew McLennan. He’s one of the best in his field and very well renowned in the north shore by his peers. His bedside manner is the complete opposite to the other staff mentioned above. Incredibly caring and attentive however you really only meet and discuss results with him if you have abnormalities in your scans.
If you conduct more than 5 scans within a year, you can get a discount on subsequent scans but just remember by then you would’ve spent $1-2k easily. Isn’t the private health system ironic - public patients scans are all free.

Very rude sonographer who did our 13 week scan, dismissive and condescending when trying to ask simple questions and seemed resentful towards our positive response to seeing our baby on the screen. Never going back.

Extremely rude receptionist. Called to make an appointment and the receptionist hung up on me when I asked a second time for the type of imaging I needed. Hire better staff

Best experience here. The receptionist was very friendly and answered any questions she could. The nurse did an amazing job with preparing me and calming me down my for the procedure/scans. Lastly Andrew McLennan was amazing at his job he was very understanding and explained everything each step of the way. Would recommend 100% to anyone

The customer service representative who answered my phone call was terrible! She was really inpatient and provided a really bad bad service. It was terrible. Did I own you something?

Lots of bad reviews but honestly, our experience here was okay. We had thought we had an appointment for 930 instead of 910 and was given a courtesy call at 915 to see whether we were on our way. Team was kind and allowed us to still keep an appoinment dispite being late. Thank you

The customer service of Sydney Ultrasound for women is terrible, especially considering the exorbitant fees they charge. You have to wait 3-5 days for anyone to call you regarding and appointment and another week to change it. They never answer their phones or online requests. Their booking system is shocking and you are ushered through their processes without explanation or consideration for your individual circumstance. I was not given instructions for my scan when I booked which resulted in a very painful scan that was poor quality.
They don't look on your file to consider your needs. I had two scans three days apart (and was charged for the pleasure) because apparently they couldn't reference the scan they had done three days ago. I made a simple request regarding my report and was told that they have not done it that way for over a decade so it cannot be done. I highly recommend going else where, where they understand customer service and charge you a quarter of the price.

To the lovely Sonographer that did my scan for me this morning at 9: 50am. I am sorry I didn't get your name or maybe don't remember because emotions were high but I truly want to thank you for giving me the perfect last scan of my little twin angels. You were kind, compassionate and I felt like I could have as much time as I needed.

Unfortunately the option to leave zero stars does not exist. We were booked in for a 34 week obstetric scan at SUFW Chatswood. I had attempted to call the clinic this morning to confirm my appointment but was unable to get through to anyone. My husband and I both work full time and had taken leave for the day to attend this appointment. Upon arrival, we were told that we did not have an appointment booked for today, instead, our appointment was booked for a month later. The receptionist admitted to the mistake being that of SUFW, yet could only offer a robotically repeated response of, "I'm sorry there's nothing we can do. "
Considering that:
a) the mistake was not ours,
b) the clinic did not answer their phone,
c) we had already taken leave for the day,
d) we drove a fair distance to make our appointment and
e) we were now out of pocket parking costs,
"I'm sorry there's nothing we can do" is simply not an appropriate response.
If you would like your obstetric scans to be a pleasant, joyful experience (as they should be) I would strongly urge you to go elsewhere.

Annabelle Peters, maybe you should check your facts before posting awful hurtful personal remarks, that obviously are way off the mark from the response by management. If you were so concerned about the receptionist and her coughing upon arrival, why didn’t you immediately speak to the practice manager, or ask her to clarify if she indeed did have Covid - which is your absolute right to do so - or if she just had a cold - which has yet to be eliminated from the list of diseases humans still get!

My wife and I have been to the Chatswood Branch on numerous occasions and have found this receptionist to be compassionate, caring person, who if you bothered to ask, is actually a former nurse, and takes care of all the people she interacts that I have personally witnessed, with great care.

I’m sure she would be distressed and upset when she reads your rather offensive posting and personal comments about her.

Do you honestly believe a reputable company such as Sydney Ultrasound for Women would let a Covid positive employee attend work dealing with vulnerable people all day and put them at risk? I don’t think so.

We have nothing but the highest praise for the staff and the receptionist at this branch, and I personally believe you should retract your comments or at the very least post an apology.

Way too overpriced and extremely tricky to get appointments as their phone redirects to head office where the lady assisting can only note down your details and request one of the clinic staff to call back as she does not have access to the clinic calendar. The clinic uses private numbers to call so if one misses their call then you have to restart, call head office and provide your details and again wait for someone from the clinic to call back. I honestly haven’t seen such a redundant booking system anywhere. The online booking is also a joke, you submit your details online and then someone will respond back after 2-3 days saying the dates/timings requested were not available but not citing their next availability so one keeps going back and forth. Extremely frustrating for mediocre overpriced service. Pregnant women deserve better. I’m now going to a regular ultrasound clinic and paying less than half for each scan with amazing efficient service.

I know this place is expensive but I'm willing to visit here for better experience and good service.
But today, my week 20 scan appointment was 9: 40am and suddenly they gave me a call at 8: 40am saying my scan is cancelled due to staff's sick leave. No one (including any other branches) is available for today.

They just want me to come tomorrow but I'm working full-time and even emptying Monday morning off was enough difficult for me. Please take your responsibility better than this for your patients.

I had an amazing experience this week at the SUFW. I was quite unsure after reading the reviews but I got positively surprised. The girls were great, wait was minimum and I left the clinic in less than one hour. I would easily come back.

Its really disappointing place. Admin staff is very rude i never seen in my life. She is worst person in the world. I booked for my wife appointment. They booked for appointment than after they call us in one hour and telling us we can not take your appointment. I asked reason they not giving us reason. I call 50 times and asking tham I need reason but no one responding. This is ugly place to go.

I will suggest everyone please please please don't go this place there is many good places. They look after you better than this place.

Loveliest people ever and they’re amazing in the office doing the scans scans but you can’t get through to them on the phone - it goes through to a messaging service where the (wonderful!) call center women can’t access the actual calendar. The bosses need to figure out a better system for the call center. Hire another casual worker for the busy phone days. Pregnant women don’t want to deal with message services - they just want to be able to book or change appointments in the moment.

Cancelled my appt as soon as the appt was made in my first call. The receptionist was rude - telling me I should’ve told her about all the boxes that my doctor ticked on the form. This is my first time booking such an appt and I had no idea it would take more than one appt to go through everything. Please tell your reception staff to be mindful that they are talking to women who may be more sensitive around the issues they are presenting with.
