This store is hopeless and sydneytools it self too. I've bought from this store twice and both time I've being given the wrong product and had to pay the restocking fee after refund. The staff are useless and don't know what they're doing. Don't waste your time here go elsewhere like Total tools

It’s the worst shop I have ever seen in my life. The employees are fully irresponsible for whatever they are doing. It’s a bout 4 months I am struggling to get my credit back which is for a warranty that has been approved by CIGWELD and they are denying to refund me. So far I have called them more than 8 times and each time I spent more than half an hour on the phone and they have told me they will call me back and they haven’t. The store manager is rood. I don’t recommend to anyone to even visit this branch.

Sydney tool is most poor and unprofessional trade shop in Australia.
I order tools online, spent almost $1000, they sent me faulty battery and now “ (so called as per their policy) i gotta take that battery to Sydney tool store which is 400 km away or need to sent it back to them on my own expense”
So the thing I didn’t understand, why would they making me to pay for the fockup they made?

Nice service and kind staff.

I visited a this store for a faulty lazer level to repair. I explained one of staffs what happen and what I want.
The staff listened my long story and tried to help me.

They replaced my faulty item in 1 week.

After calling 5 times asking for a spare part for my toolbox from white international, being told they will have to create a part number and it will take a few days. At first he called back with a price. I saud go ahead. Calling back 4 times after this over 8 days. Meantime my toolbox is unuseable. Today after calling again being told "dont know what you are talking about mate " i politely told them i wont be buying anytjing from them.i now refuse to deal with sydney tools.
Might i suggest the management speak to VEK tools smithfield and see how they look after customers.
By the way they allowed me to pay over the phone in 5 minutes and go pick up the drawer runner myself.

Excellent service, the staff have been very helpful as they will go upstairs for me and get what I need as walking upstairs is hard for me. Thanks for all your help guys you are all amazing. I highly recommend the Riverwood shop.

Appalling service. Went to Sydney Tools because they were local to buy a compressor. After researching the number of types and comparing prices, I decided to try them to support my local community. Firstly there were 2 compressors with similar specifications, 1 was $650 the other $1100. When asked what was the difference, I was told the more expensive was”shit”. I purchased the cheaper one as I was using it for DIY use only. From that point on it was nothing but trouble. 1. Compressor would not shut off when the tank was full 2. The regulator would not adjust 3. The machine must have been used as a demo because when I drain the tank, it blows out rusted water. After taking it back for warranty 4 times, I was told that I would have to pay even tho it was still within the 1 yr warranty. In total, it spent around 30 week’s getting repaired as each time was a minimum of 6weeks and when it was finally repaired, they couldn’t even call me to let me know it was ready. They guy even joked that it’s been sitting around. I will never go back to them again… there were some helpful staff but I think their general customer service and business ethic is terrible. I now go to Total Tools in Bankstown and have been happy with every transaction and service received.

I have had the worst experience with this company. Some workers there have no customer experience what so ever! It really makes your job more difficult as a tradie wanting to make purchases!

I love Sydney tools, but today I called them asked for special set, the lazy guy said he does have all of them without checking.
Then I couldn't find it there.

I ordered a Daytona DCBRVT chain breaker/riveter online from Sydney Tools (Item ID: W140721). I purchased it as it looked identical to a product a friend has (and indeed it was when I opened the case), and I have used my friend’s kit to successfully replace chains on my motorcycles. I figured I would get my own tool save borrowing his.

Unfortunately, this Daytona DCBRVT tool is fabricated from mild steel. The extraction pin of this tool was partially damaged after I extracted link pins on my old chain (after obligatorily grinding back the pin heads). The riveting pin of this tool did not even touch my 520 link of my brand new chain. The metal of the riveting pin was so soft, that it deformed, squeezed itself into the link pin, and deposited some of it’s metal inside the link pin. I had to basically snap off the riveting pin from the link. Link pin was untouched. The pin was warped like an S shape inside the clamp shaft of the riveting tool. What rubbish!

There is the argument that this tool is only $35, and what do I expect? Well, my argument is the tool should at least work once, and not leave the poor customer stranded with a broken motorcycle for two weeks. I don’t expect any vendor to functionally check every product they sell. I don’t even expect my money back. However, there is an expectation that when a product issue is brought to a vendor's attention, they will do something about it. At this stage, there is no indication that Sydney Tools is doing anything about this issue.

At this point, I was prepared to walk away… But then I started getting subscription emails from this company. This unfortunately flicked a switch in my head and set my blood boiling. I provide online vendors an email address for traceability/postage tracking purposes; not for them to spam my email box. If I wanted this, I would ask. 1 star review for you Sydney tools. Poor first impressions. I’m never coming back.

Have been dealing with Jason, he’s a very professional member of the Sydney tools team, excellent customer service skills and willing to go that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
Haven’t seen this type of customer service in a long time. Very happy to be a customer of Sydney tools, unfortunately Bunnings hasn’t shown me any good service, now I prefer to do all of my shopping directly with Sydney tools. Thank you.

Disgusting service! Recieved wrong product, returned it the day after! Multiple emails have been sent with no response nor my refund back! Trash customer service! Do not reccomend!

The worst service. They had our item in for repairs for 6 weeks and we then received a call to come in and collect it after we chased them up only to show up and see that it wasn't repaired. Don't waste your time and go elsewhere.

Purchased product from Roselands branch. It was misdelivered (I never received it) by their agent and they told me "bad luck not our fault" - not the way other, or reputable, companies deal with this problem.

Dropped off my festool grinder to get sent away on the 12/5 for repairs.
Go into Sydney Tools Roselands for update (16/6) still sitting on the shelf. These guys are hopeless
