Sydney Startup Hub reviews
18 Such an amazing drop-in co-working space. Clean and quiet, able to do deep work sessions at a comfortable location just next to Wynard Station in the heart of the City.
Plan to have client meetings here in the coming months.
It's a place for people to work and communicate than to listen to background music. It isn't a cafe altogether. Reducing that volume will really be helpful.
Such a great space for start ups and networking opportunities. The Tech Ready Women had their orientation night event here. Right next to Wynyard station.
A startup oasis in the heart of Chinatown. Super friendly staff and a great working environment setup for productivity and collaboration. They also host meetups some evenings, and Friday afternoon drinks are always a fun way to tie off the week. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Great location and free working space, wifi was a bit dodgy and didn't connect until I used my VPN. Go figure.
It is a great space to work, take calls and hold a meeting. There are tables that you can use for 2 hours at a time and a closed meeting space that you can use for a quick drop in meeting. There are even options for closed office space. The only downside is places that offer a private meeting space have different rates and from talking to reception, they do not have all the rates and I would have to talk to each company individually to get a quote. Since there are over 5 places, it is not something that I would consider doing. There are plenty of entrepreneurs to talk to and also seminars available and help for budding entrepreneurs.
Brilliant spot for anyone who is looking for a place to work if they need a break from the home office. Good location for networking with similar minded people. Really friendly staff at reception!
This place has so much potential. Too bad it is run by a government department hellbent on rules and regulations. The antithesis of startups
This place is amazing - can't believe it's free as sponsored by the government. Great working space where I'll do meetings from now that our team are working back in the CBD more often post-COVID.
The NSW Government understands the need to encourage innovation, The Startup Hub does this admirably. Very impressed with this initiative
A good start for Sydney- good facilities and good intentions. Nowhere near the scale, processes or funnel of skills / resources compared with San Francisco but a good start.
I always love my time working at the Sydney Startup Hub when I am dropping into the CBD. There is plenty of space, everyone is respectful and amenities are good. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a space to get some quality work done. Thanks

Access sometimes an issue due to ongoing office refurbs etc. Laggy lifts, and heritage timber floors not the best.
Very convenient, internet, place to have meetings, brainstorming, very friendly staff and environment. A perfect spot for startups.
I love working at the startup hub. Comfy chairs, fast internet, lots of your and smart people around. Overall a fantastic office workspace!
Located directly above Wynyard station, this hub is a fantastic place to take a meeting or just come do a few hours work. If you go to level 1 you will get access to a completely free workspace with free wi-fi and even a very nice cafe. Most people that go do NOT abuse the space and stay there all day so you'll usually find a spot.
Fabulous facility. The cafe on level one is an easy meeting plane with wifi and desks so really useful for a casual meeting or if you need somewhere to do some work for a while. The other facilities in the building agree are great for their various purposes, and of course all the businesses that are based there plus the events they hold. Across the road from buses, trains and a plethora of eating venues it's super convenient.
A contact recently told me about the Startup hub and suggested I check it out. Glad I did. Very central location (above Wynyard station), good wifi, convenient coffee shop in the middle of the floor (albeit a little slow) and a great buzz around the floor.
A great spot for small businesses to use between meetings for an hour or two.
