Sydney Shade Outdoor Umbrellas

Recently purchased a serenity cantilever umbrella, 4m octagonal with surface plate in charcoal tweed. Had a young lad Toby come out to install it at my place, he did a fantastic job.
The umbrella operates flawlessly and is a talking piece when i have guests over.

Great service from Terry, the Sydney agent for Shadowspec umbrellas. I was very pleased with the quality of the wall mounted umbrella.

We have have a deck facing onto a great view, but requiring summer shade through a wall mounted umbrella. It gets windy up there so we needed something sturdy. We had a look at the Paraflex and then saw details of the New Zealand engineered Shadowspec Retreat 2.7 m Hexagonal umbrella. We were impressed by its manouverability and apparent ease of operation compared with Paraflex. Terry from Sydney Shade had a first small batch of the Retreat coming in and was extremely helpful and flexible in getting one to us. We are delighted with the product which looks robust enough to stand up to the potentially windy location, and is as easy to put up and take down as the video suggests. The construction seems absolutely first rate, and the gas lift makes putting it up much easier than the competition, as does the highly innovative fold down hinged central rod. We are pleased we took the risk of buying sight unseen, and thanks to Terry and his New Zealand counterparts in answering our list of questions! Oh - and Terry is straightforward, and true to his word on every aspect, which is nice to experience.

Our 4m umbrella arrived today. The company has been amazing to deal with from the first day of contact until delivery and installation. The quality of the umbrella is beyond outstanding and the installers were polite and incredibly helpful.

The umbrella's are more expensive than most, but they are absolutely worth it.

We bought the 4m octagonal serenity model. It was more expensive than most models we saw on the market BUT the quality is fantastic and it looks amazing. After seeing this umbrella, other brands looked so inferior so we decided to invest in this one. Terry is very passionate about his products and was very helpful. The installer was also so friendly. Would highly recommend.

I bought a umbrella for thousands of dollars and when it came to the protection cover, they invoiced I paid in DEC 2021 and never heard anything until I called Today. Then they sent it. No apologies no communication. Very poor service and they think it is OK! Really

Terry was very responsive throughout the process, installation was quick and professional. Due to the heavy rains, have not yet had the chance to use the umbrella yet, but it looks great. Very happy with the process, service and product. One tiny gripe was that freight costs weren't mentioned in initial discussions of costs, and so came as a little surprise.
