No matter when you try to call, a human being never answers this phone and then they tell you not to leave a message or call back knowing full well no one will answer it then either.
I have never heard of such an pretentious disregard for patients.
Why don’t you allow patients to at least beg for a phone to be answered just to stroke your rock star size egos.
Disgusting service.

If you hoping to see Neurologists who are -
*Arrogant
*Pretentious
*Dismissive of patients knowledge about their bodies
* Have disinterest in keeping up to date regarding medical knowledge

then this is the place for you

Otherwise avoid this place like the plague. Take your money elsewhere as they have no appreciation of it here.
This is actually the worst Medical services that I have ever attended and the opposite of their marketing spin of being "cutting edge, innovative" etc

Everything here is outdated.the knowledge, the attitudes

A good G. P is actually more helpful than the pompous and insecure 's here

I have been under the care of Dr Prosser for Chronic Migraine for several years. Very, helpful knowledgable and caring! Certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I cannot recommend highly enough the team at Sydney Neurology, and in particular the treatment my mother received from Dr Louise Allport. After having a very frightening and dismissive appointment at another specialist we booked our mother in. The staff at the desk bent over backwards to fit us in, and from the moment we booked we felt informed and supported.

Mum was given the absolute top care and compassion and eventually got a much more informative and caring level of care that set her at ease.

We need more Doctors and clinics like these. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone looking for someone who cares about their wellbeing from start to finish

I am shocked and surprised with the attitude of the PRACTISE MANAGER (RENEE) from Dr Stephen Reddel practise. When I called the clinic to book an appointment, Renee presented herself in a very rude and appalling manners. I am dismayed with her communication skills!
She was impertinent and obviously has lack of respect towards the doctors she works for.
Renee, if this is how your communicate with strangers, i wonder how you deal and communicate with your family members? You must review your behaviour and seek professional support. I have noticed that your title is a (Practise Manager, please Renee, keep practising, you still have a long way to go)!
Anyway, we are delighted that we found alternative neurology practise.

Receptionist is impertinent to people with neurological issues, i called up to ask questions regarding services and prices, i wanted to know what treatment would best suit my case. She interrupted me to tell me i cant do anything without a referral and the initial consult is at least $450. No respect or understanding for the patient concerns.spoke over me to tell me i cant do anything without a referral.for a receptionist to be disrespecting disabled people at the front desk of a medical clinic she's certainly in the wrong place.

I've been going to Sydney Neurology/MS clinic for years. The staff are always friendly, helpful and accommodating. Dr Jane faith is the best Dr i in had the blessing of having as my Neurologist, she is thorough, caring and very good at what she does. Couldn't recommend this clinic enough.

I have been attending Sydney Neurology for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. A well run office full of professional people who know their stuff! 5 stars.

I visited Jane Prosser twice and both times I was incredibly disappointed. I felt she did not completely understand what I was going through and brushed off my symptoms. I was sent there by my GP as she is known to be one of the best migraine doctors but it seems anything that slightly differs from the norm, she doesn't know what to do.

She was unsure about my diagnosis as I presented with other symptoms and only after being persistent - she then somewhat believed what I was experiencing MAY be causing my migraines.

I had also spoken up about numbness in the back and severe lower back pain which she disregarded as irrelevant. I'm not sure how a neurologist could disregard back pain as it may be a symptom of the migraines I was experiencing.

Despite asking for a lumbar spine MRI, she declined and said it was not necessary. My GP later wrote me a referral to which now I just decided to get my scans done as I had to pay $250+ out of pocket. It was noted I had a cyst on my S2 and was the reason why I was experiencing so much pain.

I don't understand where her duty of care is. I definitely don't recommend Jane Prosser as I found she brushed off my symptoms and didn't seem to actually listen to my complaints.

Jane Prosser charged my husband $440 to diagnose him with migraines. A GP could have done that. No scans or MRI, completely brushed off my husband's symptoms. Her "solution" was lifelong medication. A simple band-aid for the SYMPTOMS.no ideas or advice re: the CAUSE of these migraines. No helpful advice at ALL re: triggers and management. Such a spectacular waste of money.

Useless, had a referral to see a neurologist 3 weeks ago for chronic headaches and no call back! Very rude reception as well. Have taken my business elsewhere. I just wish I read the other reviews before trying this place!

I wouldn't recommend Sydney Neurology (or comment but its worth warning others) the professionalism & quality of treatment is notably bad compared to all other practices Ive visited both locally & abroad on every front, Im quite experienced. Been here 3 times. Prof Pollard would be turning in his grave. Theyll lose your test results, not chase them up & insist they never happened, (& refuse to look at the receipts in your hand) they'll make admin & resulting medical treatment mistakes serious enough to lead to prescribing convulsant drugs to epileptics. Yes really. On trying to clear up what are clearly obvious errors on their part, youll then have to deal with fairly arrogant & aloof doctors such as Stephen Reddell who offers very little in good advice & listens even less. Prof Pollard would be turning in his grave. To be fair I did eventually get my seizure medication script, but dont bother, if you can Id recommend Randwick hosp/NSW uni instead, infinitely superior.

Both myself and my sister attend this practice - seen by 2 different neurologists. Both (Dr Reddel and Dr Garber) are excellent. Contrary to other reviews here, the staff have gone out of their way to help us with appointments and bookings for various tests.

Beware of false positive reviews for Sydney Neurology Centre. 10 positive reviews all posted on the same day by 10 posters who have all only reviewed one place seems very suspicious to me.

The place gives you a comfy feel and free from the anxiety you would normally feel when seeking medical help. Some say the staff can be indifferent but it's the doctors you come here for. And the doctors' service you can count on.

Very arrogant Neurologists and admin staff. On two occasions different Neurologists here have discussed other patients in a derogatory manner in my presence. Dismissive of concerns and not receptive to patients input. The concern is the high patient demand > supply ratio has created a culture of the Neurologists having unchecked bad behaviour and poor social skills without accountability as they know "business is strong" and there are always other patients, so without financial repercussions there are no incentives for them to improve their attitudes and services. There is a culture of insecurity amongst the doctors and them trying to impress each other and put on 'airs'. The admin stuff are generally unpleasant and unhelpful, no doubt having picked up the cultural atmosphere of Sydney Neurology.

Some staff are accommodating but Some staffs are are a bit uncaring and sometimes waits can be long. But that's in every medical office or hospital. My doctor was way better than the staff with communicating, especially when i was inquiring and asking question.

Waited an hour even though I have an appointment. But I was treated with respect and good service the staffs were all very friendly and penitent. Apart from that no issues like the others have mentioned here.
