Great place to climb, lots of climbing walls of varying difficulties. Staff are friendly and will help take you through if you've not been before (you have to go through a starter wall with them). Only issue is that it's quite dirty on the walls and I don't feel like the shoes you hire are properly washed! Other than that, mid week is nice and quiet and weekends are very busy so bear that in mind.

My first time at the gym. (I am from the US with no other point of reference for climbing gyms in Australia)

Upon entering, I inquired about waivers. Perhaps the staff was not fully understanding my questions about the waiver, but they were a bit rude with their responses. I went to complete a waiver. While they were documenting I had mentioned the I went climbing with a staff member the day before. A small thing to mention, but it seemed they had no interest to build on that conversation or to conversate in any other way.

Bouldering:
+Good amount of bouldering. Upstairs section is quite dense, downstairs is more spread out
+Color coordinated routes
+Most problems were a 3/5 setting quality, but there were a couple 5/5 that I really enjoyed
+Wall terrains include slab, dihedral, overhang, aretes, vertical
+Setting included crimpy, balancey, slopey, compression, stemming, juggy steep, and so on. (Good variation)
+Overall a good community. Talked to a couple people. Some guys seemed quite pretentious. The youth comp team was there but they did not detract from my experience like it may have at other gyms.
+Good music
+/-Bouldering on two different floors
-Arbitrary grading system 1 to 10 with supposedly no correlation to the V grading system.
-No orientation of the grading system
-Hard landing pads

Ropes: did not climb ropes

+Lots of rope climbing with variedirt terrain
-$5 Top rope certification. (Not meaning instruction)
-/+Belaying stations are different than any I've seen in the US.

Training:
+fitness deck downstairs near bouldering section including weight lifting equipment
+Hang board
+Moonboard

Other downsides:
-Somewhat unfriendly staff
-Didn't see any drinking fountains. Just a room with a sink to fill up bottles
+/- older facility with older walls, but a more developed climbing community and event offerings

Great place, helpful friendly staff. Huge amount of different leveled climbs and a cool amount for kids to do. Some comfortable couches to chill on and enjoy a nut bar or ice cream on.

Great place for climbing and other physical activities. Unfortunately the customer service is shocking at best. Desk staff are rude, appear like they don't want to be there and that it would take a considerable effort to force a smile. Also found it very rude when my ID was chucked onto the desk and my response of "thank you" and "goodbye" were both ignored. It's a shame that an otherwise great day was tarnished by poor customer service.

Great climbing facilities, but one star off 5 because of the poor state of the bathrooms - no soap or toilet paper, and very dirty.

I can recommend this place. I visited during a recent short visit holiday / work trip. Good helpful staff and an overall friendly atmosphere. I highly rate it and can recommend a visit if you are thinking about it. I would return for sure. The owners of this business seem to have invested in creating an ethos of quality service and have instilled this in their staff. It really shows in the way that the staff interact with clients. Personable, professional and very courteous. A+

Really nice place, with a lot of choice. Lead and Top rope and a boulder area all in the same place which is rare.
Only thing is that it could be cleaner, much cleaner. Changing rooms, floors, for the price of the membership I think it should be done easily.

The place is huge. Plenty of variety and everyone is friendly. Will be frequenting this establishment!

Pretty damn good time, first time (group of 10) for all of us. The lady with short hair was super helpful, teaching us the basics and off we went!
Great environment, tip: get there early to avoid the crowds (especially the younger ones - they tend to come in waves!)

Relaxed 'no judgement' atmosphere. A great place for everyone from kids, beginners and experienced lead climbers.

Probably the best climbing spot indoor, friendly staff, challenging lanes, good gears, gym and bouldering corner.

WOW,

What an amazing atmosphere this climbing gym has. Came in for the first time with my son at a busy time (5: 30pm) and was greeted so politely by a young man with black hair dressed all in black. He helped us both and got us started as soon as a possible. Took us for a lesson and was so helpful. Thank you guys so much for making our experience here so great will definitely be back soon with our friends. Special thank you to that young man.

Please get some extractor fans in the roof - it's like swimming in sweat in summer. Huge amount of routes, changed regularly, good staff.

Very funny even for beginners! Make sure to be in couple (one must keep the rope and the other one go climbing)

We had a ball - a great family day out in the school holidays. $70 for a family pass was great value - next time I’d take lunch and stay the day.

Only downside was we had three water bottles go missing whilst there. Very odd.

The original and biggest center in Sydney

However avoid on weekends or holidays
The place gets way too packed

Ventilation is non existent, so don’t go if it’s hot or you’ll suffocate in sweat and BO

Top climbing and bouldering centre. Loads of routes, gym areas are great, staff are friendly and they play some decent tunes. I’d just like to see more mid-level bouldering routes as many seem to be either super easy or super hard.

Biggest climbing gym in the southern hemisphere. Recently added a large bouldering room.
Does anything more need to be said? If so, some great route setters with more being trained all the time

A large indoor climbing hall with very well organised climbing walls and clean floors. The dressingroom might get crowded because it's quite small. Belay system is easy to use and it's great that it's present at each route. Levels of difficulty are also clearly posted. There is a bouldering are, but I haven't been up to take a look. Prices are reasonable, though forced member ship is quite expensive for the climber that passes by.
