It was my first time flying in a General aviation aircraft and an unforgettable one, Everyone where super kind and friendly and make you feel like you are where your meant to be. I Highly recommend this place if your thinking of getting a license or just trying get a taste of what Aviation is.

Booked a 60 min trial flight and I was highly impressed by the crew. I believe that one can learn so much just by flying once. It’s amazing to see such motivating people around. Kudos to all the crew. My experience has been amazing.

Booked a 45min introductory flight experience and I had Gulled Ibrahim as my instructor. The experience was really great! He was very patient with my numerous questions and offered to take photos and videos for me. Had a very fun experience and hope to go back SFA for another round! They were so very accommodating as I had to change the timing of the flight just a few days before the flight

I recently started my flight training with Sydney Flying Academy and to say it was the best day of life would be an understatement. I felt supported by the staff and that I was in the hands of excellent instructors. Shout out to Karim!

Booked in for a 60 min trial flight. SFA is struggling with scheduling and communicating the change in schedule of sessions.other than that it's a great place to experience and start your first time flying experience.friendly staff and well maintained flights for safe flying.

I booked a one hour trial flight. Instructor was very friendly and helpful (definitely one of the best parts!), and had an overall decent experience.

However, one thing I found disappointing was I was more into flying as a leisure activity and seeing some scenic sites as a bonus. Unfortunately, there was more flight meanuevers than sight seeing.

To be fair, the usual plan for flights is to go north of sydney to the hawkesbury river for great views, but sometimes turbulence can prevent that. However, it would have still been nice to go to another scenic area eg.the Blue Mountains.

For anyone looking to try this out in the future, unfortunately sometimes the instructor will forget to emphasise leisure sightseeing and focus more on the flying part. Even though I think the academy should always clarify this before the flight, a good way to make sure you get the most value for your money is to make sure you are both on the same page of what you want out of the flight.

Absolute blast, John was exactly the kind of pilot you'd want as an instructor. Great sense of humour, professional and friendly attitude.

I booked the 60 minute trial flight experience with flight instructor John. Absolutely incredible experience! I flew the Foxbat which was a small and funky aircraft, enabling me to experience great views and was fairly simple to manoeuvre. I was amazed that I was allowed to take off and fly without assistance for 98% of the time!
John was a fantastic instructor who gave me a lot of confidence and made me feel very relaxed. He was a lot of fun and made the experience even more enjoyable.
I am now absolutely hooked and will be back for more lessons!

Many things to love about Sydney Flying Academy (SFA). But if it’s one thing that made the experience it was the staff. Every member of the SFA team was amazing. The learning was very flexible too, and I was easily able to manage the study around a full-time job.

I went up for a 30 minute trial flight with Horace. He was polite, professional and kept the mood light for what could be a potentially stressful situation. He kept us informed what was happening along each step of the way. Once in the air, he handed over control and I was flying the aircraft in a loop around Parramatta and over Prospect Reservoir. He was clear and concise with his directions and was able to explain everything as it happened.
I would highly recommend Horace and SFA for their trial flight experience, and I look forward to seeing them again.
