1h30 flight in perfect weather along the coast and I got to fly the plane myself. The instructor Anees is great! Heaps of fun! 100% recommended

Anees flight instructor was super helpful and the trial flight was a great experience. Felt comfortable and safe at all times.

Unbelievable experience, learning to control the aircraft helps remove fear of flying, heights etc.but mostly the ability to be in control and Anees was fantastic, I learned a lot in such a short first time

I have nothing but great things to say about SFC. I have been training there for a year now, finally having gotten around to pursuing a lifelong bucket list item of learning to fly. And I could not be happier that I chose SFC. First and foremost, the instructors are amazing. They are excellent pilots and teachers, genuinely care about their students’ progress, and are very invested in seeing us succeed. I can’t even count the number of times instructors have reached out to me by phone or email just to check in, see how I was doing, and ask whether there was anything they could do to help me out. I have become personal friends with several of them. Second, the syllabus for private students such as me is completely flexible. I can fly as frequently as I want (weather permitting!) and do as much practicing as I feel the need to do in order to feel safe and comfortable as I master new skills. Finally, the aircraft are very well looked after and maintained. Of particular benefit to me was the recent addition of several brand new Archers, fitted out with Garmin G1000nxi glass cockpits. This is state of the art technology, and makes it so much easier to progress with my studies. This is truly an excellent school with a first rate group of people. I feel very safe, comfortable and motivated learning to fly at SFC, and I would strongly encourage anyone interested flight training to give SFC a go.

Started at SFC with no prior knowledge and left with a commercial pilots licence and an instrument rating!

The amount of support that was given from all the staff was unbelievable, from the beginning, all the way until the end and even after I had left.
They always give you their best help and advice to see you succeed.

Recently got my PPL after 1.5 years of training at SFC.

What a magical journey! Instructors here are highly professional. Club house procedures are well defined and documented.

They're not the cheapest place around but definitely offers good value. Planes are in good condition and are regularly turned over. Instructors are patient and won't rush you to the next step if you're not ready.

Highly recommended anyone interested to book a Trial Introductory Flight (TIF) to check the place out.

I myself didn't even book a TIF, I just told them I wanted to commence flying after visiting the club house. Never regretted it!

Last year I returned to flying to upgrade my very old RPL to PPL. Having shopped around Bankstown for a school, I selected SFC. It turned out to be the perfect choice, with a great friendly club vibe combined with thorough and safety-first courses for all levels of GA flying.

Although also delivering the formal courses, SFC are a great option for private students such as myself who need to fit flying and associated study around the other demands of life. I was always able to set up my lessons very flexibly which was a great help in getting this licence completed.

Thanks to the whole SFC team, but a special thanks to my primary instructor Matt for his help, patience, professionalism and positive attitude. Having just attained PPL, I am already looking forward to further training with SFC. Thoroughly recommended!

This school is absolutely rubbish. Staff talk rudely about students, they are useless in replying and communication. There aeroplanes are very old and always have maintenance issues. They are exploding with too many students and so their quality has gone down considerably. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Enjoyed my time here very much. Staff were extremely professional and went above and beyond.

Safety is always a priority at SFC, hence why they will stand out for any aspiring professional student pilot.

I did not have the time to do the many hrs it took yet but I loved the time with this flying school. I am afraid of heights but I felt great flying from Sydney over Parramatta.thank you. One day. I would love to do all the hours required to qualify.

An unforgettable wonderful experience. My instructor is a great pilot who is friendly and patient. We flew over prospect reservior, warragamba dam, katoomba and Blackheath. It's hard to describe the beauty of the scenery along the way. It's best to experience it yourself ！！！When flying above 1500 meters, she asked me to control the aircraft. I felt adrenaline filling my body. I was shocked by two things. I was able to use mobile data when I was 1700 meters high, and a lump of bird droppings fell on the window. Fighter in birdsMy instructor was always helping me find the best angle to shoot, and took photos and recorded videos for me.very appreciated At the end of this trip, I learned a lot and reshaped my impression of flying. I think this experience really worth it.

SFC is a fantastic flight school and the best in Bankstown. The Instructors deliver great quality instructing and really care about your progress as a student. Their aeroplane fleet and maintenance is excellent. I would highly recommend SFC for anyone who wants to start their aviation journey.

Booked in a Northern Beaches trial flight with Brian F a few weeks back and had a awesome time. Brian was great to fly with and I enjoyed every minute of it. Afterwards a few members of the SFC team reached out and helped me set up my first lessons to start my RPL training. Looking forward to beginning my aviation studies with these guys!
