The Practical Psychology Course I completed was excellent. Very informative and thought provoking. It was exactly what I was looking for as some background to Psychology for personal interest. The lecturer Juan was also excellent and I enjoyed his presentation of the course. I would definitely recommend to anyone with an interest in Psychology.

My sister and I took the Sign Language 1 course and it was everything and more than what we expected it to be. We had two teachers - Chris (our main teacher) and Matt. Both teachers were incredibly patient and understanding of everyone in the class, and made each class fun and interactive so that we would put what we learnt to use. They were funny and engaging, kept us coming back for more! We will absolutely do the Sign Language 2 course!

The class is conveniently located in the cbd. The teacher was very helpful, competent and friendly. I came with no background in sewing at all and learnt a lot. This class definitely reached all my expectations. Highly recommended.

Christopher is a very experienced & enthusiastic presenter. The course content was excellent & Christopher ensured that he provided examples that were relevant to the interests of all attendees.

Great place to learn. I really enjoyed this course, with a teacher that doubled as a moderator. Great experience.

I enjoyed the first session and learnt enough about the essentials to give me good beginning in how to go about what I wanted to sketch. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the second session.
I will endeavour to repeat the course at a later stage.

Light on content and course finished one hour early, when I was expecting to finally attempt some creative writing.

I really loved my time learning Videography with Leo, I feel as though I have grasped the basics of videography and look forward to pursuing it more in my free time. I am hopefully going to be attending the second course with Leo after I give myself some time to refine the skills I've learned.

Loved this course! Juan's enthusiastic and engaging teaching style, extensive knowledge and real world experience were brilliant. If the college could offer a 'Next Level' course for more in depth coverage of the various topics, that would be fantastic.

I just completed an Indonesian Language course with Aulia as our teacher. Being an English teacher myself & having taught in Indonesia, I was very conscious of the methods, techniques & teaching styles in
language learning. He was outstanding, demonstrating patience & a very helpful & approachable attitude which invited students to willingly ask questions. He also injected humour into each lesson so it was highly interactive, enjoyable & participative. I look forward to continuing to the next level of this course.

I did the Sewing Essentias with Valeria and it was more of what I was expecting, she's really patient and thoughtful. I'm so proud of what I made and the help I got. Thank you so much!

The sign language 1 course with Chris was great! Eye opening to the deaf community and fun learning experience. Recommend all to complete at least this course in case sign language is ever needed.

I just finished the 6 week How to start a Business course. Great course, really good overview of all things business if you're a little clueless on how to run a business like I was. Highly recommend the course, the classes are conducted by business professionals who successfully run their own businesses. There are lots of little insider tips to help save you time and money before you think about statuing a business. Highly recommended course!

There are a number of issues I have with a photography class this college provides:

1. This is my third course with this tutor and he is using the same photos to illustrate concepts already discussed in his other classes.

2. Found at times the tutor was patronising to a number of the students in the class.

3. Lastly and more significantly, the tutor advised the class on his first night to stop taking notes and photos of his powerpoint as he would send a copy electronically. On the second class, he was advised by myself and a number of other students he had not sent it to which his reply was he did not think he had committed to that. When he was reminded he did, he agreed to send, however on a third attempt to remind him, he flatly refused. After raising this with the onsite manager twice, I was told to submit this customer feedback as my only option for the college to do anything.

Joe was a great language teacher. His variety of teaching styles ensured all participants were able to engage in the fun of learning a new language. Joe's extensive teaching experience was invaluable and we all thoroughly enjoyed the course. Highly recommend to anyone serious about learning Italian.

With a fairly decent price point per course and with great teachers, Sydney Community College is a fairly inexpensive way to pick up a new skill. I took 2 different levels of the Korean Language course and both teachers were fantastic and went at a good pace to cover the required topics. Would take up courses here again when my interests are piqued in a different area.

Did the Copyrighting - How to get it right course with Christopher Melotti and I was blown away at how generous he was with his knowledge. He went above and beyond.

Attended the iPhone photography course with Richard today. It was exactly what I was after and now feel I can get great shots with no need to go out and buy an expensive camera. He explained everything well, good pace and relevant topics. But no - i’m Still not buying a selfie stick!
